There is a way to turn your photo into a line drawing in Lightroom.

If you zoom in you can see all the detail on the surface of the moon.

 

This is a pencil drawing I scanned in and darken slightly to bring out the detail. I think it was circa 1985.

Running over 5 pages, this was one of the larger pieces I did for the MHBs. Even with the cut-down style I still had room to work in a few cameos.

Demeter is an abstract expressionism artist, she explore ideas of minimalism, black and white. Demeter develops her characteristic painting style, draw with active, scribbled black lines. Early influences included Pablo Picasso, Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline, Robert Motherwell, Jackson Pollock, Helen Frankenthaler, Cy Twombly, Frank Stella, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

I finally figured out how to do line drawings over photos in photoshop! woot woot! This one ended up being very Gobel-esque
