For me this is ironic, because yesterday I bought myself a little graphics tablet. And though I am seriously impressed with it I realised that nothing feels as good as real pen and real paper. and real tea (none of that rooibos nonsense haha)

This is a screenshot of the output of a tiny Python program which draws lines which change direction when they reach the edge of their containing area. Sometimes they escape and all hell breaks loose, but usually they find their way back.
Making new meaning from old words. This was a really enjoyable excercise:)

I have been looking through my many albums of my drawings
lately and found this, which I had named Cell. Thought it rather appropriate to share it at this time of covid 19.
Ink (Platinum Carbon Black, Iroshizuku Take-Sumi, and Kala Moonstone), and pencil on Bristol Smooth.
1976. My mom liked this drawing so much she had it made into greeting cards. Most of the drawing is a single continuous line, and then I added the black window portholes and the shading.
We (Rinaldo, Moritz en ik) waren nog even in de Cotton Club. Rinaldo en ik tekenden (in het boek van) de barman die voor ons op de piano had gespeeld.
