Another shot from the same storm as the previous one. There was a lot of different coloured lightning from purple to orange during this storm.
A huge lightning, caught in my camera (after several attempts), During a lightning storm, not far from Salar De Uyuni (Bolivian salt desert).
I think it was too much for this digital camera, so the photo is a bit out of focus :)
After 7ish years of owning a Digital camera i've finally captured lightning, not the best , rain and dirty sensor don't help :)

I know it's not the best shot but the first time I actually finally caught lightning on Camera...that is my neighbours House across my backyard....
We have some really angry weather today with tornado warnings and floods everywhere...

After a play at Live Arts we watched from the roof deck as an incredible lightning storm lit up the sky.
I finally received the part for my tripod and the weather could not have been more cooperative. I was intending to get some shots of the moon. but obviously that didn't happen. I think the lightning was more fun and exciting.

Taken 01SEP05 Las Cruces, NM (Organ Mts). This was an incredible storm with very high winds; I had to hold down my tripod and camera.
I was pleased to get this shot, but the other one was more dramatic. Can't have 2 lenses on at once ;-)
