Taken in Rockville, MD. (I don't map pictures taken in/around my home for privacy reasons.)
The rain stopped.
Through the windows, the magic light came,
It lingered on the wall.
I hoped it could stay with me, for longer time.
The night came, after all, with no surprise.

I wake every morning to the light coming through the Venetian blinds in my bedroom. I love the way that there are the parallel lines of the slats and also the minor verticals crossing them. I think I have caught the shade created at just the right intensity but who am I to judge?
Some stunning crepuscular rays this morning! Just had to pull over to take a shot! View towards the Wrekin - Shropshire
Looking up to the interior ceiling detail and colour. Gaudi used ideas from natural forms and details in his architectural design and preferred to use models rather than detailed drawings.Barcelona Sagrada Familia . en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoni_Gaud%C3%AD
Another sunset, quiet a shock right? I am pretty one dimensional right now. Or consider me specialized in sunsets :) Some day I will get out of my comfort zone but in the meantime with the limited time I have to invest and the great area for them they win out. Another shot from this location.

Light Angel Sakura is an agile space mecha. Fast and graceful, it specializes in close quarter combat. Its speed and agility allows it to quickly close the distance between itself and the enemy. When it gets close, it can shred the enemy before they know what hit them.

"Find the light and shoot what's in it." I may be paraphrasing a bit but I heard this quote recently and cannot seem to remember who said it. This is a shot of some garden plants that died back for the winter and the gutter and road in front of my home.

This one reminds me of something my friend Krista would do. :) She's so good at light, pastel images.
The weather is BEYOND gorgeous here in NJ this week. I don't want it to get humid and hot again but it's coming!! It's been so nice to have the windows open.
This image is very much a case of right place... right time...
It was more luck than planning - I'd been following two younger stags who were in and out of fighting when I turned around to see this large male watching in the distance.
The shard of light illuminated him perfectly and by underexposing by 3 stops, rendering the background and foreground, which was in shade, much darker, I was able to ensure he was exposed correctly. It allowed for a much more striking image.
Created using an LED colour changing unit, a speckled marble and a turntable.

Clicked this picture during the Diwali festival at home a few days ago...
Diwali or Deepavali is an important festival for Hindus/Jains/Sikhs. Diwali involves the lighting of lamps to signify the triumph of good over evil. These lamps are kept on during the night and one's house is cleaned, both done in order to make the Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth & prosperity) feel welcome.
