Happy 2013 (:

Just a little light.

The candles are going off burning along with me.....

Sunrise this morning was late and slow but worth waiting for!

Light Angel Sakura is an agile space mecha. Fast and graceful, it specializes in close quarter combat. Its speed and agility allows it to quickly close the distance between itself and the enemy. When it gets close, it can shred the enemy before they know what hit them.

With the lockdown easing, I still don't go out very often but needed to get out early last Saturday. Heading toward East Point Lighthouse here in Maurice River Township, NJ, my husband and I found a path we'd never taken before & stopped to walk. The path was filled with ticks so, needless to say, we did not stay long. I did find this little scrub pine growing in the moss. I liked the light.

Beauty is not in the face;

beauty is a light in the heart.

Visited churches tonight for the Holy Thursday Visita Iglesia and took some candle shots. =)

Thank you for all your comments, visits, and faves! Will visit your streams later. Need to catch some sleep. =)

This color was a nightmare to edit ! Really hard to give the real aspect of this color with the camera.

Uhm, yesterday's scenes look good. I don't clearly know how they are, 'cause I didn't watched them on my computer, but they look nice.

Today has been HORRIBLE: it was really, really hot and I was forced to eat in the sun because of a "family lunch". Omg, something to forget as soon as possible.

Tomorrow I'll probably go to Rome, because the hot weather today hasn't been enough. I don't know if I'll survive, but if I'll meet Woody Allen (the reason why I'm going there, so excited!!), I'll tell you. :D

This image is a crop from the previous one, rotated 90 degrees. The edges of the light on the water turns into feathers.

Clicked this picture during the Diwali festival at home a few days ago...

Diwali or Deepavali is an important festival for Hindus/Jains/Sikhs. Diwali involves the lighting of lamps to signify the triumph of good over evil. These lamps are kept on during the night and one's house is cleaned, both done in order to make the Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth & prosperity) feel welcome.
