Got this amazing effect while trying to come up with my photo for our "Illusions" exhibition. I love the way the glass ball seems to be on top of the light trails. No Photoshop, just light painting. 😊
Btw, I'm hosting a studio light painting workshop this week. It's a lot of fun. If you are in London, check it out. 😊

In the heart of the night, a garden of light blooms with thousands of tiny stars, as if the earth has embraced the heavens.
Photograph was created yesterday evening while I was surf fishing at South Mission Beach ~ San Diego, California.
The lead sailboat is spot lit by the setting sun's light with some small amount of *sparkle* around it out there on the horizon... both are making their way to safe harbor.

The leaves are turning and allowing the autumnal light through the trees onto Alder Carr Lane, Rosedale Abbey.
As vivid the city Van is, so quiet is the surrounding land.
We'll bring a visit to the south-eastern part of the country, for not so many years ago a completely no-go area. Even today you get stopped by a military checkpoint on the way to Yüksekova and Hakkiri suspiciously asking you about your motives and your goal. Why are you visiting this area, where do you plan to stay? Of course they want to check your car to be sure you don't smuggle weapons or anything else.
Welcome to this beautiful part of the country near the Iranian and Iraqi borders, surrounded by the highest mountains (nearly all over 4,000m), impressive castles and endless skies in what looks like a true no man's land, except for the peregrinating nomads.
To be continued...
