An LHD import from Spain, which was first registered here in 1994. I suspect it's been with the same person for that entire time too.
Interestingly, the original dealer, T(alleres) Martinez of San Miguel de Salinas are still going too.
I have a feeling the left hand side rear light is original, whilst the right is a recent replacement, given the difference in condition!
This might just be an Opel with vauxhall badging, since i don't think vauxhalls were ever sold as LHD.

We're not quite done yet with the high quality publicity photos!
Back in the mid 1960s when Sweden decided to switch from left hand rule of the road to right, Leyland were favoured with a huge order for Panthers and Atlanteans. The number of the former was to be 200, their Park Royal bodies having equal capacity for the number of seated passengers to those standing, 36 of each. It's difficult to imagine nowadays that a UK manufacturer could snatch a major order for commercial vehicles from a country which was the home of Volvo and Scania! What went wrong? (no need to answer that)
Here, running along a quayside with a full load, somewhere in the Swedish capital, is one of those Panthers.
An attempt was made by the Swedes to sell off some of their RHD stock to the UK, and with that in mind, a used Scania toured some British fleets on demonstration but no orders were forthcoming.

The last few months I worked at this model of the amphibious assault ship USS Essex. It´s 278 cm long and weights 38 kg !
This left-hand drive Leyland Olympian was built as an American demonstrator in 1985. No other examples were produced and it was eventually sold to Brampton Transit. In 2012, it was picked up by Double Deck Tours in Niagara Falls. The bus returned to the GTA, minus the roof, with City Sightseeing Toronto in 2016.

There are no papers or registration documents anymore with this restoration project. This LHD Facellia has a speedometer that indicates miles. So this car could be from US origin.
The complete engine is missing.
The Facellia was presented in Paris in September 1959. The first deliveries followed in March 1960.
It was also available as a Coach 4 Places and as a Coupé 2+2 Places.
In 1963 it was replaced by the Facel III.
Only 1045 pieces were made.
Eight cars of the total number of 230 cars offered at this auction were Facel Vaga. That's quite a lot for Dutch standards.
Seen at the viewing days of the Palmen Barnfind Collection Auction initiated by Gallery Aaldering, Brummen and provided by Classic Car Auctions, location Dordrecht.
