The school in this image is Queen Victoria Public School in Belleville, Ontario. It's the oldest operating school in Belleville and was built in 1912. The school serves approximately 230 students from junior kindergarten to grade six.
Scientology's emeter is modified to use in the "secular" branch called Applied Scholastics. The new meter is called a Learning Accelerator. It has the same components of an emeter, which Scientology claims is a "religious artifact" and is used in the same manner. The use of this is for "Word Clearing". What is a non-religious group doing using a "proprietary religious artifact"?
Natural Henna artist September Reed visits the Avondale Regional Branch Library's teen summer learning program to share information on the history of henna, the process of creating paste, and the resulting stains. Each participant practices drawing their design and applying (lotion) henna—(there is no white henna!) Everyone received a practice tube of white lotion and a tube of brown henna to take home and apply.

Two levels of 'social' space utilised for self-study or group work. This space is otherwise 'dead' space linking corridors in the building.
Both floors have students working, alone or in small groups, using laptops, books, papers, or just talking.
If you look closely you can also see a reflection of something similar going on in the Heartspace cafe on the 2nd floor.

Tapping out beats, rhyming words, and practicing letter sounds is so much fun with Quynn Johnson! Pre-K + K students and teachers at Margaret Brent Elementary in Baltimore City Public Schools have been exploring literacy through tap in this Early Learning residency.

Fabulous use is made of the corridor between the six classrooms. Many learning spaces are evident. The walls of the classrooms are glassed so that the teachers can see what is happening. Computers line the walls for student use.
