Leaf from the Bullocks Heart tree. (This is what my mother called it but I cannot find anything by that name that looks like this).The actual leaf is heat shaped with this spider web mesh of red veins.
Yet another of the Japanese maple leaf. Where I live not too many trees have this kind of fall color so it is always a treat for me to see it move though all the different changes of color it gives from start to finish.
I can't wait until these come into bloom probably next year for the first time.

I think maple leafs are one of the prettiest leaves around. It doesn't hurt that the maple leaf is found on our flag.

Found this giant frond at the Botanic Gardens, Oxford that was shaped like a giant scoop. Loved the veins and general greenness of it!
