Leaf detail on Fujichrome Provia 100F, with first development in Rodinal (1:25, 38°C, 12 minutes), fogged (3 minutes), then second development in Unicolor (developer 5 minutes 38°C, blix 10 minutes 38°C, stabilizer 1 minutes).

Yet another of the Japanese maple leaf. Where I live not too many trees have this kind of fall color so it is always a treat for me to see it move though all the different changes of color it gives from start to finish.
All the green leaf body has gone. Just the vein structure remains. And the spines of course. Still as dangerous as ever...
In New England (not sure about elsewhere), going to see the fall foliage is called "leaf peeping". People come from all over to peep. And, with this in my own backyard, I understand why.
So, leaf peeping shot #1 is the obligatory upskirt. ;-) Sexy, isn't she?
Made he most out of the frost early this morning. The Winter weather just makes photography for me so much more fun and adds texture and I just love photography so much. Just a shame I'm scared of people, means I can't show anyone anything.
I really liked the way the background came out black and white on this one (all natural I haven't altered it) as it makes the Autumn colours on the leaf really stand out.
We had a little outing to the local churchyard today as I wanted to see if the Redwings had arrived, they love to eat the berries on some of the trees there, but no sign of them yet:)
