A wonderful glitter lamp, that reminds me of a theatre show. The back of the lamp is lined with an infinity pattern of trees that make you look like you are looking into an avenue in a forest. This wonderful glitter lamp is a very beautiful piece and the following images show the lamp, construction and of course the lamp's beautiful effect. Thank you to Bohdan for the images.

So take a look at this charming little glitter lamp, which simulates walking down an avenue in the Winter snow.

for those how dont know him by name , you might remember his famous Lava lamps for the 60's.

he died in 2000, but his lamps still flow on......

Normally the wax settles on the bottom. My son's lava lamp cooled down to this rather fetching shape. He hasn't twigged yet and I'm loathe to point it out for fear he may never stop giggling.

The Cosmos. An export only model introduced by the legendary Crestworth Ltd company based in Poole, who were the sole inventors of the Astro Lamp. This lamp has been seen with lava but this time we see it with Crestworth's Glitterlite formula. Slow, safe moving glitter in a bottle. I love the regal elegance of the base and the way it raises the bottle. Thank you to the ebay seller for these lovely images. When The Grove first opened, Ryan designed a bunch of the installation art for the Tony Hawk store. The TH store is now a Roxy shop, but they kept one of his shrines, with (one of the) the lava lamp heads that he made. This picture is him painting this actual one. This is a picture of one of the other heads.

This wonderful Russian Glitter lamp was seen for ebay on ebay france a while back. I love the metal pieces that attach from the base of the lamp to the cap. The oversized cap adds interest to the lamp and gives the lamp a sense of style and character. These images show different parts of the lamp from different views and show this wonderful lamp. These USSR lamps are rather unique.

Something went horribly wrong.

But the women still love him.

Wanted to see if I could actually get a lava lamp to look fast :o)
