Been awhile since I'd seen a lava lamp.

the red light is on!

My custom mathmos with bottle of mathmos fireflow 01

I haven't had much time to go out and take pics lately. These objects were's set up; they were just lying around waiting to be put away.

That's how hard-up for photo opportunities I've been for the last few weeks!

In the house!

...Or alternatively you can turn the lamp off and just light it the boring old traditional way...

A wonderful glitter lamp, that reminds me of a theatre show. The back of the lamp is lined with an infinity pattern of trees that make you look like you are looking into an avenue in a forest. This wonderful glitter lamp is a very beautiful piece and the following images show the lamp, construction and of course the lamp's beautiful effect. Thank you to Bohdan for the images.

So take a look at this charming little glitter lamp, which simulates walking down an avenue in the Winter snow.

The Cosmos. An export only model introduced by the legedary Crestworth Ltd company based in Poole, who were the sole inventors of the Astro Lamp. This lamp has been seen with lava but this time we see it with Crestworth's Glitterlite formulae. Slow, safe moving glitter in a bottle. I love the regal elegance of the base and the way it raises the bottle. Thank you to the ebay seller for these lovely images. Out and about today I didn't take any pictures. I did come up with quite a few great ideas for future photos but settled on some nostalgia for Day 4. Remember lava lamps......? (I bet you can smell the incense, huh?)

Every light display needs one.

The classic boken christmas lights :-)

Additional photos. I love the polished surface and cut out where the tube of glitter resides.

Similar to the other Flower lamps, this particular model features a blue casing and a different kind of flowers which are illuminated by the bulb. These models are also seen with glitter inside the bottle as opposed to the typical flowers. If you have one of these lamps we'd sure love to feature it.
