A wonderful glitter lamp, that reminds me of a theatre show. The back of the lamp is lined with an infinity pattern of trees that make you look like you are looking into an avenue in a forest. A close up version of Lava Lamp 1 - the picture is cropped so as to remove the top and bottom of the lamp and just keep the glass mid-section.
My lava lamp had been off for a while, and the whatever-that-stuff-is had settled into a solid, flat-surface block at the bottom. Apparently, though, it didn't cool (or reheat) completely evenly. This is how it looked about a half hour after I turned on the lamp. It plateaued here for a bit, then returned to the normal lava lamp program.
The black bubbles look hypnotizing, stare at them and play ur best Paul Van Dyke audio. Blisssssssssssszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
