This wonderful little glitter lamp popped up on ebay France for sale and nobody bought it, it is really small and cute and really caught my eye. To be honest it would look awesome next ot a little window and would be really beautiful. Pretty isn't it.
In my cube: Madonna e Bambino and her posse of plot ninjas. May I introduce you? Left to right: Joe Bob, Bill, The Ninja With No Name, Madonna, Cliff Brooks, Ted, and Ninjanette. And even though he looks it, that's not Jesus in the background photo, it's John Frusciante, the Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist. He just matched my lava lamp so nicely that I had to pin him there.
Flames are a lot like lava lamps, unless you get to close,
then you set yourself on fire, I like lava-lamps better.

Playing around with a lava lamp, macro, and exposure.
Trying to capture the elements inside the lamp. This was my favorite for there is so much to see.
These particular lamps feature fast moving glitter in a range of colourful spaceage looking bases and cap. These must have been sold in the UK as they often featured in the sets of George and Mildred. They are really great and my friend Jerome has one in baby blue. I have seen these in a range of colours. Please note to make sure that when refilling, to be in a well ventilated place, as the contents of the solvent based lamps can be rather strong.
The next lamp is a common design seen for sale in France for a while. I describe these lamps under the Window Glitter description. They have rather beautiful forms often very square like and feature a window or cutout where the glitter can be seen flowing, This particular model is square and rectangular and rather beautiful. Again these lamps feauture fast moving glitter, which is solvent based. When refilling please only use refill outside or in a well ventilated area.

Gelatine balls floating in a dense liquid. I think I got the full one from
someone who eBay'd a case while I was in college. The empties are all from when it was still being sold.

A funky red window glitter. I love the circular glitter used in this lamp with a deep rich red ruby liquid, very very stunning. The french window glitter lamp is proven to be a very popular design as so many are seen on ebay for sale. They are really lovely and really beautiful and interesting ... Do you have one of these? We would love to feature this wonderful glitter lamp.
