We went to La Mesita Park to go launch a rocket. Carleton made sure Kevin didn't set himself on fire.
Lenovo launched several new products at the Olio Restaurant, Crossroads, Cebu.
Products include: IdeaCentre A300 All-In-One Desktop, IdeaPad Z460, Idea U460, Lenovo V460, Lenovo B460, ThinkCentre A70z and ThinkPad Edge 14” laptop.

This is actually a comp of six images. Five were taken about an hour before launch and are bent into a Mercatur projection showing the photographers on either side of me. Onto this pano I comp'd a single frame from my wide-angle camera roll of the launch itself.

Balloon launch to commemorate Richard Crosbie’s flight in 1785 from Ranelagh Gardens. The weather was perfect for pilot Tom McCormack to take off. Special permission was required from the Aviation Authority and this flight is very unlikely ever to be repeated.

The space shuttle Discovery and its crew of seven rocketed into orbit Sunday, March 15, 2009. The launch plume glowed pink, peach and golden.
It was a unique experience. We could hear the roar of the engines and the ground trembled.
About two minutes after liftoff, the SRBs (Solid Rocket Boosters) were released, and shortly begin falling into the ocean. It will be retrieved and reused.
This was the launch of the GPS Block IIR-21(M) satellite from Cape Canaveral, Florida - the last one from Lockheed-Martin until the GPS Block III satellites are built and launched. It was a little cloudy so I lost the Delta II for a short time.

Cape Canaveral is a hour away, so the sound of the launch didn't reach us for nearly ten minutes later. The trees also blocked all the early view of the launch, leaving us to only see the later stages... which were still pretty neat.
On June 16th 2018 Aerial Edge Launched Scotland's first full-sized flying trapeze rig in their venue at Kelvin Hall, the original home to carnival and circus in Glasgow's West End.

Governor Markell helped launch the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Principal for a Day Program at Newark High School.
On 19th September 2018, LEAFF launched the full programme line-up at Electric Cinema in Notting Hill.
