While passing through Green River on my way to Idaho I read about this site on the internet. Just a few miles south of Green River Utah, there is an abandoned missile launch site that you can drive through and take pictures such as these. The site was used from 1964 to 1975 there were 244 Green River launches. Missiles were directed to the Whits Sands Missile Range during the Cold War. This is launch pad #2 with rail-roller system for rockets.
The very last launching of the Selsey Bill lifeboat from the old building. As you can see by the number of people that came to watch a rather poignant celebration.

This grenade launcher is top-of-the-line. Housing a 12-shot canister magazine, and near semi-automatic fire, this isn't used for taking out small clusters of enemy troops. It's meant to clean out whole f****** encampments, buildings, and tenches. Just fire it in a line, and the front ranks are a bloody pulp on their allies shoes, while they are stunned from the amount of carnage.
NOTE: When sending a trooper into battle with one of these, be sure to give them armor. No, not standard troop armor. Like, 3-inch thick steel armor, and give them boosters to help them move, because once they are spotted carrying one of these, all enemy fire will turn to them. Yes, we ARE serious!

The hot-air balloons at Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally started launching at 6:15AM on Sunday morning. They continued every 2 or 3 minutes until 7:00 AM. The recovery vehicles had already started rolling by that point.
Balloon launch to commemorate Richard Crosbie’s flight in 1785 from Ranelagh Gardens. The weather was perfect for pilot Tom McCormack to take off. Special permission was required from the Aviation Authority and this flight is very unlikely ever to be repeated.
