THE YUSUKSUWAN MUSEUM ( Lamps Museum )

The museum is in the Forestry garden 6 kilometers from Prachinburi City Hall. Many Kinds of beautiful animals can be seen in the garden around the museum. Of interest in the Yusuksuwan Museum are the collections of lamps hanging from the ceilings, decorating shopping and parking areas even the rest rooms. As it appears today,the Yusuksuwan Museum is comprised of five buildings:
Rachawadee building, has two floors. The exhibition on the first floor is the collection of ancient silverware, brassware, pottery, irons, kerosene refrigerators and kerosene fans. The second floor is a show room for the collections of pressure lamps, ship lamps and the lamps for slide projectors. The components of the lamps are displayed in details for visitors to study.
Leelawadee building is a twin building of six rooms. On the first floor is Ratchapruk Room. Ancient crockery, ceramic trays, pots and lemonade bottles are shown in this room.
The next room is Chaiyapruk Room for the exhibition of brassware, betel trays, bronze bowls, kerosene stoves, oil lamps. Also on this floor is Kalapapruk Room. The collections of bicycles and motorcycles are exhibited in this room. On the second floor of this building is Tong-gwaw Room. Children can see many kinds of toys displayed in this room. Tonglang Room on this floor is an exhibition of small Buddha images. Tongphanchang Room exhibits the collections of scales and measurers of all sizes.
Chuanchom building, has one floor. It displays the pictures of prachinburi in the old days. Among the pictures of great value is the picture of our beloved King visiting Wat Kaewpichit, Prachinburi. The collections of old newspapers , cartoons, stamps, books and lottery are also displayed in this building.
Chow Payu building, is designed and constructed in the room from of a pressure lamp, 13 meters high. Visitors can see the scenery around the museum from the top of this building.
Apart from the collections of valuable things, pleasant surroundings are waiting for visitors to enjoy, including fish ponds, large bird cages, peacocks, turtle and also crocodile ponds.
The inner most of the museum is the boat-house. Many kinds of boats, including a dugout are shown here. There is also a bamboo house in the area. The house was built without nails and wire. Thai tools for living in the old days are displayed in the house, too.

พิพิธภัณฑ์อยู่สุขสุวรรณ์
อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองปราจีนบุรีประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร ตั้งอยู่ที่ 135

อ.ประจันตคาม พื้นที่โดยรอบของพิพิธภัณฑ์โอบล้อมไปด้วยพรรณไม้
สวยงามนานาชนิด อีกทั้งยังมีสัตว์สวยงามต่างๆมากมาย
เมื่อท่านได้ก้าวเข้าสู่พิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งนี้ ท่านจะได้พบกับตะเกียงจำนวน
มหาศาล ซึ่งมีแขวนอยู่ทุกๆที่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตามที่จอดรถ ร้านค้า
บนเพดาน ตามอาคารต่างๆ แม้กระทั่งห้องน้ำอีกด้วย พิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งนี้
มีอาคารทั้งหมด 5 อาคาร ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย
อาคารที่ 1 อาคารราชาวดี
อาคารนี้เป็นอาคารสองชั้น ในส่วนของการจัดแสดงของชั้นล่าง
ได้จัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับสิ่งของโบราณหลากหลายชนิด เช่น เครื่องเงิน
เครื่องทองเหลือง เตารีดโบราณ เครื่องปั้นดินเผา ตู้เย็นใช้น้ำมันก๊าซ
เป็นต้น ในส่วนของชั้นสองเป็นชั้นที่รวบรวมตะเกียงเจ้าพายุหลากหลาย
ยี่ห้อ ทั้งยังมีตะเกียงที่มีการใช้งานที่แตกต่างกันไปเช่น ตะเกียงเรือ
ตะเกียงฉายสไลด์ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีรายละเอียดของส่วนประกอบตะเกียง
ให้ท่านได้ศึกษาอีกด้วย
อาคารที่ 2 อาคารลีลาวดี
อาคารนี้เป็นอาคารแฝดที่เชื่อมต่อกันทั้งหมดซึ่งมีสองชั้นรวมหกห้อง
โดยแบ่งเป็นสองชั้น ชั้นล่างประกอบไปด้วย
- ห้องราชพฤกษ์ ได้จัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับถ้วยชามโบราณ ถาดกระเบื้อง
โถพู ขวดน้ำมะเน็ด ซึ่งเป็นขวดน้ำอัดลมในสมัยก่อน
- ห้องชัยพฤกษ์ ส่วนใหญ่ของที่จัดแสดงจะเป็นเครื่องทองเหลือง อาทิ
เชี่ยนหมากทองเหลือง ขันลงหิน เตาน้ำมันก๊าซ ตะเกียงลาน
- ห้องกัลปพฤกษ์ ใครที่ชื่นชอบเกี่ยวกับเรื่องของรถจักรยานและ
รถจักรยานยนต์ ต้องไม่พลาด ภายในห้องนี้ได้รวบรวมรถจักรยาน
หลากหลายยี่ห้อรวมไปถึงรถจักรยานยนต์ที่มีหลักการทำงานเป็น
สองส่วน คือ จะให้เป็นจักรยาน(ถีบ) หรือเป็นรถจักรยานยนต์ก็ได้
ต่อมาจะเป็นในส่วนของชั้นที่สองซึ่งได้แก่
- ห้องทองกวาว ห้องนี้เห็นได้ว่าจะเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของเด็กๆ เพราะภายใน
ห้องนี้เป็นของสะสมที่เป็นของเล่นสังกะสี โดยส่วนใหญ่ และยังมี
สามล้อถีบของเด็กในสมัยก่อน ซึ่งเป็นห้องที่เด็กๆจะได้เห็นวิวัฒนาการ
ของของเล่นในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน
- ห้องทองหลาง ภายในห้องนี้ได้จัดแสดงในเรื่องของพระ เช่น พระผง
พระเหรียญรวมไปถึงรูปพระเก่าๆอีกมากมายหลายแบบ รวมทั้งพระเครื่อง
ที่ขึ้นชื่อของจังหวัดปราจีนบุรี
- ห้องทองพันชั่ง เป็นการรวบรวมเกี่ยวกับเครื่องคำนวณ ตราชั่งและ
เครื่องตวงวัดในรูปแบบต่างๆ เช่นตราชั่งคัน ซึ่งมีตั้งแต่ขนาดเล็กไป
จนถึงขนาดใหญ่ ในการจัดแสดงของอาคารหลังนี้ ได้จัดแสดงสิ่งของ
ออกเป็นหมวดหมู่โดยในแต่ละห้องจะมีจุดเด่นที่แตกต่างกันออกไป
ถัดมาเป็น
อาคารที่ 3 อาคารชวนชม
อาคารหลังนี้เป็นอาคารชั้นเดียว การจัดแสดงภายในของอาคารหลังนี้
เป็นการจัดแสดงในเรื่องของรูปเก่าของเมืองปราจีนบุรีในสมัยก่อน
และภาพถ่ายครั้งที่สมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว(รัชกาลที่๙) เสด็จมาเยือนจังหวัด
ปราจีนบุรี ณ.วัดแก้วพิจิตร และมีหนังสือเก่านานาชนิด เช่น หนังสือพิมพ์
ที่วางจำหน่ายตั้งแต่ปีพ.ศ. 2515 หนังสือการ์ตูนและสำหรับผู้ที่ชื่นชอบ
ในเรื่องของแสตมป์ ทางพิพิธภัณฑ์ได้จัดแสดงแสตมป์ที่สำคัญๆไว้
หลายชุดด้วยกัน รวมถึงยังมีล็อตเตอรี่รุ่นที่ 1 ของรัฐบาลสยามอีกด้วย
อาคารที่ 4 อาคารเจ้าพายุ
อาคารนี้เป็นอาคารที่สร้างจากรูปแบบของตะเกียงเจ้าพายุ โดยมีส่วนสูง
ประมาณ 13 เมตร ซึ่งภายในของอาคารนี้ นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถขึ้นไป
เพื่อชมวิวโดยรอบได้
เมื่อทุกท่านได้ชมกับของสะสมนานาชนิดที่ทำให้ท่านได้ย้อนกลับสู่
อดีตแล้ว ทางพิพิธภัณฑ์ยังมีสถานที่ที่ให้ทุกท่านได้พักผ่อนหย่อนใจ
ไปกับธรรมชาติ นั่นคือ บ่อปลาและกรงนกขนาดใหญ่ที่มีนกสวยงาม
นานาชนิดให้ท่านได้ชื่นชม เช่น นกยูงไทยที่ในปัจจุบันหาดูได้ยากแล้ว
และยังมีบ่อเต่า รวมไปถึงบ่อจระเข้อีกด้วย และจุดหลังสุดของพิพิธภัณฑ์
ท่านจะได้พบกับอาคารสุดท้ายคือ
อาคารที่ 5 อาคารฟ้าประดิษฐ์
ซึ่งที่นี่ท่านจะได้พบกับเรือหลากหลายชนิดไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรือขุดที่ใช้ต้นไม้
ทั้งต้นมาทำเป็นเรือขุดเพียงลำเดียวและภายในโรงเรือยังมีเรือนผูก ซึ่งเป็น
บ้านที่สร้างจากไม่ไผ่โดยไม่ต้องใช้ตะปูหรือลวดในการก่อสร้างเลย
และภายในเรือนผูกได้จัดข้าวของเครื่องใช้ในการดำรงชีวิตในสมัยก่อน
ให้เยาวชนได้ศึกษาอีกด้วยและนี่เป็นอีกสถานที่หนึ่งที่จะนำให้ท่านหลบพัก
ความวุ่นวายในสังคมเมืองแล้วมาพักผ่อนพร้อมย้อนอดีตไปกับที่แห่งนี้

I was captivated by the uniformity of the street lights all over the beautiful city of Prague on a recent trip so decided to put this small series together...
A boring image, perhaps, but a little bit of an experiment with multi-exposure mode. With the light on, the highlights and shadows both blew the dynamic range of the sensor. Six exposures with the light on and three with it off, and it's all just about back in check, with hardly any noise to boot.
After Norman worked his repair magic, we can now rest easier that the lamps will no longer be a fire hazard. The CFL's generate less heat, use less energy and the fixtures are no longer too hot to the touch.

TABLE LAMP XVIII
The lamp is made of Senegalese gourd.
White carvings are deeper layer of wood which allows some light to pass through it.
At the top of the lamp is closing part locked with little magnets. The base is finished with black jeweller waxed string.
Diameter of the gourd is 21cm. Lamp is 35,5cm high. Diameter of the base is 24,5cm.
