Knowledge is a gift, and it cannot be enjoyed alone. The joy of learning is best experience in sharing it with others. Language proficiency is a supreme gift, and it cannot be used to denigrate people, but to elevate and affirm them. I am acutely aware of these gifts and intend to use them carefully. My wish is that all teachers and learners use these gifts well.
