rice center (CRC) and for amplifying the distribution of quality rice seed. The CRC is
a learning center of the community under the support of the project. A core group of farmers
is trained and they provide knowledge on quality rice seeds to other farmers. The village
name is “seed producer farmer” or “egg yolk farmer.” A seed production training program is
organized. The member farmers in the village are called “egg white farmers.”

Bluffing, and never admitting that you don't know something is not a new phenomenon ~ although it used to be practised by urchins, rather than politicians.
At the heart of the HLF4, the Knowledge and Innovation Space showcased 95 e-Posters presenting innovative ideas, tools and initiatives in development cooperation that have led to improved development outcomes. 17 of them will present evidence on SSC and TrC, generated by 28 academic institutions from the developing world with the support and coordination of the TT-SSC.
In addition to creating opportunities for informal interaction, sharing of knowledge and good practices among HLF4 participants, the Knowledge and Innovation Space hosted 28 Mini-Debates and 14 Knowledge Workshops, providing a unique opportunity to discuss in greater detail the ideas, initiatives and tools introduced in the e-Posters.
The ‘Ecosystem-based Adaptation South’ project seeks to help the Seychelles, Nepal and Mauritania to adapt to climate change, in part by restoring natural habitats across all types of ecosystems. In the Seychelles, on-the-ground ecological restoration will rehabilitate 29 hectares of mangrove and wetland forests, thus providing natural flood barriers. This image forms part of the digitised photographs of the Ross and Pat Craig Collection. Ross Craig (1926-2012) was a local historian born in Stockton and dedicated much of his life promoting and conserving the history of Stockton, NSW. He possessed a wealth of knowledge about the suburb and was a founding member of the Stockton Historical Society and co-editor of its magazine. Pat Craig supported her husband’s passion for history, and together they made a great contribution to the Stockton and Newcastle communities. We thank the Craig Family and Stockton Historical Society who have kindly given Cultural Collections at the University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia, access to the collection and allowed us to publish the images. Thanks also to Vera Deacon for her liaison in attaining this important collection.
