18th Graduation Day ceremony was solemnized in Nehru Arts and Science College on 03.8.2019 at P. K. Das Memorial Auditorium. The Function began with the Academic Procession of the Principal, Chief Guest, Managing Trustee, Secretary and the HoDs.
Adv. Dr. P. KRISHNA DAS, Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions presided over the function. He insisted the importance of Academic Enrichment of Students and they must exhibit it for the benefit of the Society. He emphasized that the students must be trained in accordance with the requirements of the Industry and the needs of the Society. He also highlighted that the Higher Education system should mould the students to elevate them to the Pinnacle of Success.
Dr. B. ANIRUDHAN, Principal, Nehru Arts and College, welcomed the Graduates. In addition he expressed his vision for the future and stressed the students to envisage the growth through their sincere efforts towards the societal development.
Dr. MOHAMMED BASHEER Vice-Chancellor University of Calicut, Kerala was the Chief Guest. In his inaugural address, he pointed out the Significance of Higher Education. He stated that Teachers must act as Mentor and Trainer by enhancing the students to manifest their knowledge for the development of Our Nation.
Dr. P. KRISHNAKUMAR, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions, in his felicitation address, congratulated the graduates. He emphasized that the students must be trained in relevance with the real need of the hour. He also highlighted the values which enhances students to empower themselves in all walks of life.
Dr.S.Jayapriya, Convener of the programme proposed the Vote of Thanks.
In the last edition of Common Knowledge 2013-2014 cultural professionals with interesting ideas and projects were in the spotlight. A team of coaches helped creatives to prepare the best pitch, which they presented in front of a jury and advisory board, and of course nice audience.

I enjoy learning new things. I love reading personal development books because it gives me an insight of what other succesfull people think and do. I'm amazed by the fact that I can be inside someone else's mind just by reading their words.
Every student need computer knowledge now a days because without computer knowledge you can’t survey in the world. How many degrees if you have is not a matter but how much can communicate through digital literacy is matter. so basic computer knowledge is very essential to everyone, every student must first make sure they meet the minimum technical and software requirements in their life, Students who have very little experience with computers can learn the basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online. The ability of adults to perform these tasks can be accessed through online, self-guided modules. Included are basic computer digital literacy standards and modules in ten main areas: Basic Computer Use, Internet, Windows Operating System, Mac OS, Email, Microsoft Word, Social Media, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Information Literacy. Our goal is to give you a solid foundation, Once you have understood these basics, you will have a clear understanding on which to build your future knowledge of and skill with computers. The American College would like to thank everyone who was in attendance along with our incredible speakers and presenters. It was each and every one of you that helped to make this Knowledge Summit the most successful yet.
We would also like to, once again, congratulate all of our graduates on their hard work and commitment to further help their clients. It is because of you that we are able to continue to provide the highest level of financial services education.

It was the Great Exhibition Road Festival on the 18th to 19th June.I stumbled upon it as I was going to a tour at Imperial College in Kensington. A friend's alumni at the College.
