My sweet little angel!
She is balancing bokeh on her nose... she is so well-trained! :-)
She probably got that bokeh from the backyard.
Hanna (right) and Juno love hanging out in the kitchen with me. They are good company, so far they have never stolen any food (unless it is on the floor;) which I think is quite amazing considering their noses are at counter height.
The colors remind me of Landshark more than Corona.
Either way, TGIF! :D

The flesh covers the
bone
and they put a mind
in there and
sometimes a soul,
and the women break
vases against the walls
and the men drink too
much
and nobody finds the
one
but they keep
looking
crawling in and out
of beds.
Flesh covers
the bone and the
flesh searches
for more than
flesh.
There’s no chance
at all:
we are all trapped
by a singular
fate.
Nobody ever finds
the one.
The city dumps fill
the junkyards fill
the madhouses fill
the hospitals fill
the graveyards fill
nothing else
fills.
(Charles Bukowski)
Creating yet another diversion from what I really should be doing. I just took this random shot in the kitchen. Want to guess how I did this?
Speaking of kitchen nightmares (title taken from Gordon Ramsay's show), I was able to book a table at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London in April. Weeee!
BTW, my family would partially agree with this title--I am a nightmare in the kitchen.
Twice a year for a a couple of days as the sun and earth perform their season dance, the sun reflects off The Science World dome on Quebec Street into our condo forming shadows from our condo window frames.
Please, get rid of that popcorn ceiling!
Methinks not.

3 - A live chicken. No, wait. I mean in the kitchen.
We discovered Lurpak Garlic and... omg it's so good, Alex and I ate half of it in
about 7 hours time... (lunch & dinner). Tomorrow should be interesting :))
Mushroom, Goat Cheese & Kalamata Olive Pizza.
Made from scratch for lunch. Fortunately the crust was already made ahead and stored in the freezer. So I just thawed it in the fridge over night and used it today. It was yummy!

june is so happy-busy.
but... busy.
i need more hours in the day for end of the school year stuff, visit friends, entertain friends, to prepare our summer vacations, to cook, bake, do the chores, take photos, download, upload, email friends, work on the house... etc... and still find time to unwind a bit...
anyone with a recipe ?!!
Wanda does this thing where she sits on the kitchen counter and drops her head over the side. The other day - I got underneath to see what it looks like from below...
Made of glass with apples, pears, oranges and bananas in it. This is on a kitchen counter in Carmel, New York.
I would say that MilkBones are her favorite treat, but everything is her favorite treat. She eventually got this one, with a little help. :-)
UPDATE FROM BONNEE: “Thanks, everyone, for all the views, comments, and faves. I’m a little overwhelmed by all this attention. When my mom took this photo of me, I was annoyed because it’s a profile shot and that’s really not my best side. However, I saw ‘enormous treat for Bonnee’ written on my dad’s grocery list (because I’m practicing walking on 2 legs and was able to snoop around on the kitchen counter until I found something interesting to read), so I think I might score a special treat this afternoon. I’ll pose for another portrait so you can see what my parental people buy me. If you have commented on or faved my photo, my mom will be sure to visit your photostream. I would do it myself, but she won’t let me use her computer (some nonsense about filthy paws, but I don’t know what she’s talking about).”
UPDATE 3/21/13: Bonnee was rewarded this afternoon for working so hard on her Out of Reach photo: www.flickr.com/photos/lennydavinci/8579052166/in/photostream
I just got this pretty awesome piece of furniture & crate from BlinkyDollBoutique, & I love it. I also bought a step stool, & a blanket, so I have lots of new stuff, & Penelope seems happy with everything too. :-)
This ended up being a last minute scramble of a pic because revision has just got in the way and I then didn't have time to sort it out or upload it and I only remembered today. Hopefully I'll get this weeks done tomorrow. I must say however much I loved doing a 365 last year I'm glad I did it when I did and aren't doing another this year. If people are completely busy and still have time to do a photo you're amazing. That's all I can say.

A few years ago, my wife and I purchased this tea bag holder at Cracker Barrel. #WakeUp #FlickrFriday
Continued from the image posted earlier and repeated in comments, these stems came while pruning the plants in my balcony where i have a few pots that make my green space.
Did not feel like throwing them away, hence put them into shot glasses with water.
The middle one - holy basil - guzzles water ; the water disappeared fast and had to be replenished every morning, while the other - the name of which i do not know yet (gifted by a friend) keeps water well.
The arrangement stayed very well for three weeks . I felt in the hot summer of Delhi wherein flowers wilt fast, these little green pops around the home especially living room is worth the effort.
