I wanted my composition to look like a patchwork quilt, with some old and some new "pieces of fabric." Except my quilt is made of the fabric of time.

for ABCs & 123s *C* is for Coloring Book
These coloring book pages are 36 years old. They had gotten dusty, and moldy and smelled of mildew. They had been moved and survived through about 25 moves. They got a little more raggedy each time, though I took pretty good care of them. I had been saving them as little keepsakes from my son and daughter, but I was loathe to keep them in the condition they were. The trash container was right there, but I just couldn't quite toss them out. I got a small brainstorm. Take photos! Then I have the memory of the exact pages they colored and the cute way they did them, but no smell and no lousy condition. Also, they take up a whole lot less space and they don't get torn. Once I had the pictures, letting go wasn't too hard at all. So there you have it! :o)

A gift given to me by a small boy at the end of my first year of teaching. He was so proud to give me this and I'll always remember his little face (that was over 40 years ago!).

Our front room tree is generally decorated solely with our extensive collection of Keepsake ornaments. I started collecting them when I was still single, over 20 years ago. The kids already fight over who gets which ones when I no longer have the strength to put up Christmas trees. It is going to be a loooonnnnggg wait, children!

Not much from the men, but then this was a girls' school. Ed Hahn was my mother's foster brother. Maurice M. Bride must have been a teacher.

:Of Treasures:
"For Lost Boys" is an all natural, absolutely organic trance in a 1/2 oz. amber apothecary bottle. A sultry mix of sweet almond oil, jojoba & hazelnut oils are blended with mine own hands and are then combined with essential oils from around the realm to produce this vessel of boyishly charming goodness.
:Of Wondrous Aromas:
"For Lost Boys" is a tantalizing thing, my doves. Fragrance oils where pulled from delicious chocolate and Colombian coffee... and these simmer with a bit of a woodsy spice oil to create a sultry aroma that seems to appeal to both thoughtful-sexy-geek-guys and the macho man alike. It holds an almost irresistible charm that will be sure to draw others to you like bees unto honey. You'll smell good enough to eat, so do watch out for older women attempting to toss you into hot ovens or warm beds.
Note: I do have quite a few female clients that love this aroma just as much as the men I cater to, so if you're the tomboy type and you like to smell a bit like a macho batch of choco/coffee cookies then this is right up your alley.
:All Natural & Organic:
Product is all natural and completely organic, vegan friendly and actually good for your skin. Product will come to you in gift-style wrappings, packaged with love and care. Product labels and such are produced in-house & are completely composed of recyclable parchment paper and the like. Peel the label right off & tuck it away as a keepsake or bookmark. High quality amber glass apothecary bottle is also a re-usable little wonder with a plastic lid (safe to wash by hand).
:Remember:
Remember to ask questions & read over store policies before purchasing, my doves. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Mini quilt (25 x 25 inches) I made 4 years ago with my kids drawings. I made some iron on transfers of their drawings onto white canvas & then made the quilt. I put some tabs on the top part to be able to hang it on the wall. It was my first attempt and I haven't made another quilt since then.
These days I keep a blog with their drawings, click here to go take a look.
