I made this journal for my etsy shop with upcycled industrial plastic canvas from a local factory and lined it with felt made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic bottles. It is filled with a variety of post-consumer, reused, rescued, and found papers.
This A6 journal is made of soft leather in black and brown. Filled with lined paper, included some pages in brown.

An old copy of this quarterly journal, I bought it in a charity shop ten years ago. The articles are scholarly, the subscription is not cheap.
I love this assignment. I found this in a really old box of chocolates that I thought was empty (oops) and I wasn't going to eat it, so I just squished it, with very pleasing results.
Anyone care to guess what kind of chocolate it is?
Cheryl became enamored with a "junque" journal video she saw and created a group for it. :o) Since I can't say no to Cheryl to save my life, here is my attempt. I haven't actually added anything to it yet because I have other projects with deadlines. LOL
visited an art store on the University of Illinois campus and found this wonderful new notebook. Still in its cellophane.

Book has heavy chipboard covers that are padded and covered with fabric. Cover is embellished with a vintage image printed on fabric and embellished with silk ribbon embroidery and beading. The binding is a hinged ring so that pages can be added or removed.
Today was a good day, despite the fact that for some reason I thought "Photograph" was sung by Poison instead of Def Leppard. My husband gave me a royal lecture on the difference between the two. To me, a hair band is a hair band is a hair band... ;) you may start slinging arrows...
A list of things we did written on a date due slip with a dip fountain pen w/ dr. Ph martin's india ink, stamp, metal star & a watercolor wash.
My first Remains of the Day Journal front cover. My traditional quilt background heavily influenced me but the shabby chic is calling me. Maybe my next one will be more spontaneous. I'm happy just the same.

Was for my uni theme journal (my theme was gradation) but I ended up throwing this page out and doing something else. I used gouache paint for the branches :)
