The circles idea inspired me.. I had these awesome fabric scraps so decided to use them on the first page.. This bit has things that should matter to everyone most

The second one is the special things that matter to me most!

This journal has been filled with 96 handpainted pages. The book is filled with butterflies and 94 prompts for journaling. The prompts are all questions taken from the The complete book of questions by Garry Poole. The journal measures about 15x21 cm.

It is also a giveaway on my blog (until october 17 2011):

Journal Prompt 18: Music is one of my most favorite things ever!! It translates emotions that I can't even imagine putting into words. I love it. Today I want you to create a playlist of some kind. It can be your summer playlist, your July playlist, songs from your wedding day, or favorite songs of all time :) This one will be another fun one to look at down the road :)

This is some of my favorite songs on my summer playlist. :)

Here are the second two pages of the journal. The first page here I painted blue and drew in the turtle to represent the element of water. The last page I sketched. The image I sketched is Celtic and means (or represents) Infinity.

This is my item for the Functional Felt Swap. It is a nature journal with a collage on the cover created from felted sweaters. My swap partner is a nature and animal lover, so I thought this would be a good book for her to record all of the animals she spots around her house. I hope she enjoys it!

On thanksgiving we went up to our families cabin in the woods and while we were there my cousin and I did riding on our ATV. We did a lot of journal wrecking and one of the things we did was tie the journal to the ATV and dragged as we drove.

This is what the journal looked like after wards. It got all scratched up and came apart.

This page has been painted with watercolor crayons and stenciled, then stitched all over with metallic thread.

Art Journal I made with my friend Kelly.

Cheryl became enamored with a "junque" journal video she saw and created a group for it. :o) Since I can't say no to Cheryl to save my life, here is my attempt. I haven't actually added anything to it yet because I have other projects with deadlines. LOL
