I'm working on a new journal that will chart my goals for the next few months....If you would like to follow along and do your own stop by my blog www.creativechaos.typepad.com . I'm going to be doing a new page spread every Friday.
Journal made from painted candy wrappers. Blogged: jennibelliestudio.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/happy-new-yearfi...
Another spread from the altered atlas.

I'm entering this in a call for visual journals by the Brooklyn Sketchbook Library to be put in a time capsule for 50 years (!). I've decided the theme will be birds, with the Emily Dickinson quote in mind, "I hope you love birds too. It's economical. It saves going to heaven."
The flower is a watercolor that I painted a while ago and abandoned... and then recycled for paper projects.
Spread from collage journal started in Seth Apter's "For Your Eyes Only" class @ Random Arts in Saluda, NC. Produce labels from fruit salad I made on Mother's Day, paper scraps, magazine cuts, postage stamp album pages, book text.
Our Daily Challenge ~ Cover
I bought this journal to use for jotting notes, ideas, etc. for my Flickr and other photography. Part of my "Get Organized" resolution for the new year. Can you guess why I picked this one? The COVER of course!!

A human brought a new cat bed over a few days ago. Well, it's a new cat bed for me but it is has been well slept in.
I can't tell a lie. I like the smell of other cats.
I like this bed so much that I have been forgetting to go to the big bed at night!
Fiddy has sniffed the bed but he hasn't really tried it. That's a bit odd because he always likes to sleep where I have been sleeping...
I bet he could squeeze in here with me... maybe one day...
These are the photo boxes where I keep my Moleskine notebooks as well as some of the nicer journals. What doesn't fit in them is kept in the same armoire until I get another box.
Any DMUs or EMUs are recorded elsewhere!
Posted to accompany the scanned ticket for the Sheffield - Rotherham move(s)! Happier times. One railway. No Thatcherism.
I'll answer any questions about the other entries, if required!
Most of these are filled up but a few are empty and waiting.
To me these are more than just notebooks or journals, they are my heart and soul spilled out on paper. They are my memories and my life. I will forever treasure them and always keep a journal.
I started writing them in 1990 as an angst-ridden teenager, and I still write every few days. I have a LOT of journals.
I'm gradually decorating my journal about my 2016 holiday to Hebden Bridge.
I've edged the post card with machine embroidery( worked on cold water dissolvable fabric) and added a fabric flower

At a cafe in Cuzco, Peru. The tea is the infamous Maté de Coca, made from soaking coca leaves in hot water. Coca leaves are illegal to export since they are used to make cocaine, but are apart of the culture in the mountain communities of Peru and Bolivia. However, coca leaves also are the ingredient for Novocaine, and one of the side-effects of drinking the tea is a slightly numb mouth and tongue. To me, the tea tastes similar to green tea.
This is what the tea looks like without the leaves.
|| I created the journal seen in this photo. To find out more about the process of making the book, see my website

I hope he doesn't mind!
Anyway, it's a wallpaper from fiftyfootshadows.net, and the font is Journal (available from dafont.). The quote and the clock are Conky; the quote is pulled off tinybuddha.com using curl, and the clock/rings are a special Lua script I wrote.
Included in the rings are:
+ Hours, minutes, seconds,
+ cpu1 & cpu2 usage, and a total
+ memory usage
+ battery charge (for my netbook)
+ day of the month and month of the year
+ used file system space
It's all totally customisable!!! You can get the script over at Conky Hardcore! conky.linux-hardcore.com/?page_id=2880
I hope you like :)
This is a page from my current graphics journal, some small experiments with a Polaroid photo, wallpaper sample and black biro. The page to the right is small doodles whilst being put on hold on the telephone; I have BT to thank for that page.
