Journal Prompt 11:

What is your heart full of? What are the things that are consuming your heart these days. This could be things that are hurting your heart, breaking your heart, or making your heart so full of love.

As you can see, my interpretation is quite literally! Haha :D

journal entry from may 10, 2008

My hand writing is terrible. That’s why I use keyboards.

As far as we could tell, the parrot's timing was impeccable.

I'm entering this in a call for visual journals by the Brooklyn Sketchbook Library to be put in a time capsule for 50 years (!). I've decided the theme will be birds, with the Emily Dickinson quote in mind, "I hope you love birds too. It's economical. It saves going to heaven."

a new project- handbound journal featuring Nesting illustration on the cover and newly designed pattern for the endpapers

here are several of my journals but there are at least four missing- some of these are new some used and some in between. I noticed that when ever I start a moleskine I seem to think I need to buy one to replace it (have on hand....)

That's a photo of me when I was ten. The writing on the right has many translations of the word ten. I've been saving this painting from the front of Smithsonian magazine for just the right spot. I finally found it. The sticker that says pocket was on the magazine when I got it. I had the piece of shisha embroidery out to put on the cover of my little orange book when I make it. It wound up here instead.
