Join Up is a form of natural horsemanship. Its a technique used to form a bond between horse and girl (or boy but in this case its a girl haha) While i stand in the middle, i use body language to comunicate with my horse, Diego. I stand more assertively to drive him around the ring. Using other type of body language to get him to turn quickly, and change direction. Then (as you'll see in this video) Diego will show signs that he is ready to join me in the middle. He'll start to make a chewing motion with his mouth, licking his lips and chewing. Thats a horse's way of saying "Ok, i give in." and his way of saying hes ready "Join Up". Thats when I'll turn my back on him and drop my agressive body language and slouch my shoulders, rest one of my legs, and lower my head. When i do that im saying to him "Ok, you can come in now." then as you'll see in the video, Diego will join me in the middle and follow my ever command.

18 July 2012 – Fourteen former Taliban fighters, who recently renounced violence, joined a Government peace and reconciliation process today in the eastern regional hub of Jalalabad.
The ex-fighters also handed over 13 weapons and communication equipment to the Nangarhar Provincial Peace Council.
While welcoming them at a ceremony in Jalalabad, the chief of the Provincial Peace Council, Haji Nazeer, called on them to work to rebuild the country.
“So far, you were destroying bridges and schools and were fighting against the people and the Government. The Government is forgiving you,”said Mr Nazeer, adding that each of them will receive 5,000 Afs as monthly incentive from the Government for three months. After that, he said, they will try to find them job opportunities.
The 14 ex-Taliban fighters, who reconciled today with the Government, were all from Kunar and were fighting in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces.
According to Mawlawi Muhamad Abas, the deputy head of the Provincial Peace Council, a total of 106 members of the anti-Government groups have joined the peace process in Nangarhar since the Council branch was set up there seven months ago. “Fifty of them are now employed by the Ministry of Public Health,” he said.
Supporting Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process is one of the mandates of UNAMA.
Speaking at today’s ceremony, the provincial chief of police, Abdullah Stanekzai, said this kind of development plays positive role in improving security of the area and also encourages others to join the process. “These (ex-)Taliban who joined this process enjoy the rights like any other Afghan to live with us and we will do our best and provide security for them,” he said.
The commander of the group who joined the Government peace process today, named Abdull Manan Muslimyar, said they started their fight against the Government four years ago.
Mr Abas of the Peace Council said finding jobs for the ex-militants is very important because this will help them support their families and also keep themselves busy so that they won’t go back to militancy.

Kashmir Joins Global Climate Rallies to Move Beyond Fossil Fuels
350 school children in Srinagar joined a demonstration for clean
energy today, one of thousands of events that took place over 176
countries for “Moving Planet,” a global day of action to “move the
planet away from fossil fuels.”
In Srinagar, The rally of 350 school children and the boat rally was
flagged off by

The school children demanded action for climate crisis and to SAVE
WATERBODIES OF KASHMIR. After all it is the question of their future.
Waterbodies are lifeline of kashmir and their rapid degradation is the
clear signal that by the time these children grow up these waterbodies
will become part of history. The children also emphasized the need to
be part of the global movement against fossil fuels as we have to
reach the target of 350 to prevent climate crisis on the planet.
Events involving school children of eco clubs are being organized by
J&K State Pollution Control Board and IYCN in all 10 districts of
Kashmir too as part of Moving Planet movement and Project Green
Generation.
After the boat rally on Dal Lake, there was a formation of boats in an
arrow shape to signify that “WE ARE MOVING IN A NEW DIRECTION TO SAVE
OUR PLANET FROM CLIMATE CRISIS AND ENSURE A SAFE CLIMATE FUTURE FOR
OUR NEXT GENERATION.
The event in Srinagar was organized by J&K State Pollution Control
Board, IYCN (Indian Youth climate Network) J&K chapter and was
supported by NLCO (Nigeen Lake Conservation Organization) Kashmir
Private school association.
