Come join us tomorrow for our opening event in honor of artist Tresore Prada Hawkins! She will have many new, unposted works she created for the show on display along with several others. All will focus on a magical, fantasy theme along with Autumn :)
Tresore has always enjoyed anything to do with being creative in real life and Second Life. In her own words,
"I would like to touch the heart of people through my impression, thoughts, feelings , and I hope my images make you smile and dream a little".
Tresore has the special ability to create these moods, feelings and emotions in others with the time and thought she puts into each picture. She takes the time she needs to perfect the story, mood and feeling she is trying to portray by choosing the perfect pose, colors, clothing and scene. Then she puts it all together at the location within world she thinks will help achieve this goal. Her use of rich, beautiful color, unique texturing and overall composition is truly stunning and inspirational. Come dream with us and enjoy the great music of DJ Feather while doing so!

MISS SL ♛ Romania tells us, "The Zodiac sign i have chosen for this competition is Aquarius. In Latin, it translates to 'Water Bearer,' and it is the eleventh astrological sign in Western Astrology. The reason I have chosen this sign is when researching, I found that I can relate to many of its qualities, even though I myself am a Gemini. My styling is partially inspired by the Dutch designer Iris van Herpen. Her designs are a form of futuristic Avant Garde, made possible by intelligent use of fabrics and 3D printing for some unique styles. I have used the element of water as a base for my outfit, with the water flowing around my skirt. And of course, what water bearer would be caught without something to carry the water in."
MISS SL ♛ Romania is wearing a bodysuit, skirt, sleeves, and leg chains from Ersh. She adds shoes from KC Couture, jewelry from Orsini and Michan, and makeup from both Goreglam and Identity Faces.
Finally, she utilizes water around her skirt, a headpiece, and nails that she has created herself to help complete her ensemble.

One of our local cormorants.
The birds seem to have taken to perching on an old metal post just off the jetty. This makes it relatively easy to catch them in flight

Taken back in October 2018, this viewpoint between Reine and Sakrisroy is absolutely stunning, as is all of Lofoten to be fair but there was a panoramic feel to this scene as I drove by. So I pulled over and I, along with my six workshop clients spent some time by the water's edge capturing this wonderful scene on camera. This image consists of six vertical images stitched together in Photoshop CC.

Come join us this Sunday, July 23 at Noon for the opening of Lori Bailey's beautiful exhibition! She will be showing several new, unposted pictures as well as many of her posted works. Lori has always been one of my favorite landscape artists in world. She adds a touch of magic to every image she creates with her unique use of lighting, color and reflections. Even the simplest of images have an ethereal and mystical feel! We will be showing a special selection of Lori's pictures ranging from portraits to landscapes, with the focus on the latter. Lori started creating more portraits within the past couple years and this work has really shined, showing her broad range of talent.
DJ Toya will be playing a great mix of music, so stop by and dance and enjoy the music while viewing Lori's gorgeous work!

A cold and grey day here so when I went hunting for insects in the garden, there weren't any. The Honeyeater was also looking for insects for a snack. Perhaps it found more than I did.

Captured yesterday during another 1-2-1 tuition day with Steve, a lovely new client of mine. Having checked the water levels of Derwentwater online, I knew that the water had dropped from 1.65mtrs to just 1.24mtrs and although this old broken concrete jetty was submerged the other day during another 1-2-1 tuition day that I ran, I knew that at 1.24mtrs, it would be visible and ready to be photographed.
On arriving yesterday afternoon, the colour grew in the sky as the clouds rolled in to create a fair bit of drama in the sky. I just love these kind of days. A long exposure of thirty seconds captured the water silky smooth and it was taken on my latest Canon EOS R mirrrorless camera which once again performed brilliantly. I am loving quite a few of the features of this camera and my Canon 5D MK4 has now been consigned to my back up camera.

HUD Functions:
-- Eating Speed:
With this option, you can choose between 3 different speeds, which affect the speed between every fries. *Fast* 0 Seconds, *Medium* 10 Seconds, *Slow* 20 Seconds
-- Auto Eating:
-- When you turn this option ON, the avatar will eat the entire Package of Fries, and then, the avatar will throw the package away, and the avatar will resume eating after grabbing a new package from his/her back pocket.
-- When you turn this OFF, the avatar won't eat any fries unless you manually click on the fries in the package.
-- Share with Friends:
-- Your friends can click on the RED part of the package to receive one *INVISIBLE* French Frie that they need to attach, and right after, they need to keep on the yellow part directly on the fries to eat one.
-- Particle FX:
-- In the first 20 fries, they are still HOT and produce a small hot vaper particle effect =).
-- RESET Function: This function will reset the French Fries from any state to a full package.
-- Chris Two Design's HUDs now have a minimized HUD, so please select the * - * Button at the top right Corner to Minimize or the * Square * Button to Maximize the HUD.
