It was fascinating watching these Buzzards standing in line to feed on this dead Pheasant.The most dominant birds were always first in line whilst the smaller.presumably younger birds, would stand back and wait their turn to feed.

I found this wonderful abandoned crofe house on the island of Scalpay on Harris a couple of weeks ago and I could not resist pulling up and having my clients firing off a few shots before moving onto other locations.
The place was in a hell of a state but from high up on the moorland, it looked rather majestic in some outstanding scenery. I love photographing abandoned buildings and to wonder what kind of people once lived there interests me.
The sky was incredibly moody which lent a fantastic atmosphere to the scene. I hope you all like it. Feel free to share it if you wish :D

Here's a panorama comprising nine vertical images stitched in Photoshop CC. I took this image during my Northern Lights, Iceland winter workshop in January and what a morning it was too.
The sky was near cloud free and as the sun slowly rose, the pink hues of the snow capped mountain started to illuminate. It looked outstandingly beautiful.

KP5 Aurora Borealis over the 200ft Skogafoss Waterfall, Iceland (midnight Sat 14th Oct 2017)
I have been wanting to capture the aurora over Skogafoss for a couple of years now and last night my dream became a reality.
I took my clients out to one of Iceland's most famous waterfalls around 10pm and for two hours we waited until the show built up into what you see here. The waterfall was lit by two head torches over a 30 second period which allows it to really stand out from the much darker rock and foliage around it.

Dunnottar Castle is a ruined medieval fortress located upon a rocky headland on the north-east coast of Scotland, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) south of Stonehaven. The surviving buildings are largely of the 15th and 16th centuries, but the site is believed to have been fortified in the Early Middle Ages. Dunnottar has played a prominent role in the history of Scotland through to the 18th-century Jacobite risings because of its strategic location and defensive strength. Dunnottar is best known as the place where the Honours of Scotland, the Scottish crown jewels, were hidden from Oliver Cromwell's invading army in the 17th century. The property of the Keiths from the 14th century, and the seat of the Earl Marischal, Dunnottar declined after the last Earl forfeited his titles by taking part in the Jacobite rebellion of 1715. The castle was restored in the 20th century and is now open to the public.
The ruins of the castle are spread over 1.4 hectares (3.5 acres), surrounded by steep cliffs that drop to the North Sea, 50 metres (160 ft) below. A narrow strip of land joins the headland to the mainland, along which a steep path leads up to the gatehouse. The various buildings within the castle include the 14th-century tower house as well as the 16th-century palace. Dunnottar Castle is a scheduled monument, and twelve structures on the site are listed buildings.

I asked my surgeon when she called tonight if I could please have a pancake. I got permission to try one.
I'm supposed to be off all milk products, all caffeine. I'm going to add them slowly and see if I explode or not.
