Jacket FSG 1945. The fabric is a gold & black rayon, underlined with fusible lightweight cotton. There are several things I'm not happy with here, notably the ripples under the arms (why?!), the hip measurement could be quite a bit smaller, the bottoms of the sleeves are way too HUGE, and the whole thing wrinkles like crazy. No more rayon jackets for me: this one's a wearable wadder, barely.
The jacket bows out here in the front. When I put it on and pull fronts together it disappears. I think I will add hook and eyes for closing but had not originally planned to wear it closed.

It's almost completed. I finished the dreaded buttonholes, not too crooked. It is made from sun proof tri-blend (did I mention that I love this material?) that I got from www.suzzetteexclusives.com. The buttons need sewing on and then its ready for a shot with my daughter.

This was the first time I had seen these things. Everyone puts their jackets over their seat backs, but soups and stuff might spill on them, especially in a crowded restaurant. The solution here in the States tends to be some kind of coat hanger. In China now, they just put a cover over your jacket. :)
