Jacket is from my original pattern, made to my measurements, but simular to a Sew News pattern. The embroidery was a Sew News design.

My boyfriend wanted me to revamp an old coat of his. I decorated the back, added silver skulls and bleached fabric to the pockets in front, and made a detatchable hood for it.

While researching L.S.Lowery's crowds I found that he would quickly sketch scenes on whatever paper he had available then return to his studio to create the images in oil. I liked this idea of rough sketching and applied it to my work on public transport. 'Yellow Jacket Woman' is a sketch on a bus ticket that the woman dropped when leaving the bus. I felt making the sketch personal to this person helped record a time in her life.

Tweed jackets are usually worn with leather day sporrans but can be work with semi dress sporran.They are usually made from durable tweed material with horn buttons and feature the same construction as the standard Argyll jacket.
