Didn't think he'd make it to his birthday. The polyps in the nose are still inflamed. I have to wipe his nose a lot. Still on prednisone and an antibiotic every few weeks. He doesn't eat much, but he still seems to enjoy life. Still following me like a dog and still playing now and then.

It is naptime for me now and grumpy face has come to get me. Cammy always looks so mad, but he is the most affectionate cat (besides Patches) I have ever had. Cammy reminds me of a dog. He plays fetch. He waits for me, greets me at the door.

it doesn't look so impressive when I saw it while driving ... two separate cloud formations were high up to the "sky" ... at the first available stop I could only capture this moment ...

It's just a normal pelican, nothing special, but I was so happy to finally be able to go to the zoo again.

It is a former estate garden featuring annuals, roses and wildflowers and an extensive rockery. It is located on Wilket Creek, one of the tributaries of the Don River West Branch. The estate's title was once held by Alexander Milne, a Scottish weaver who settled here after the War of 1812 and left in 1832. The land and the woolen/saw mills was obtained by Rupert E. Edwards in 1944 and created his country home. Edwards home was left in neglect and was purchased by the Municipality of Metro Toronto in 1955 and became Edwards Gardens in 1956. 126
Herring Gull at Girvan Harbour, yesterday.
I had the feeling that she expected to be fed...And she was being shadowed by her yearling , so must still be feeding the youngster. After a few minutes of strutting around, yapping, she eventually let out the iconic gull “rammy”. I was sorry I didn’t have any dead fish on me. 😄

The severe angle of this tree, and the evidence of complete surgery of all of its limbs, was not enough to destroy its ability to survive. Fresh branches have sprouted...I hope it makes it.
Ironically, this tree survives at a "ghost town" , Glen Haven, Michigan.
Yes, I love Carly Simon. Ricketts Glenn, Pa. I had to wade in this stream, and those rocks were slippery. But, it was refreshing. Look no further than a short trip if you live near NYC.
