It's bitterly cold........

It is cold, bitter cold and the icy cold cutting wind penetrates to the bone......

It is quiet, very quiet and the only thing you hear now and then is the creack of the ice that forms an even thicker layer....

Geese are flying over the lake, looking for a shelter for the night and perhaps they have hardly found food in this iciness...
