The shattered water made a misty din.
Great waves looked over others coming in,
And thought of doing something to the shore
That water never did to land before.
The clouds were low and hairy in the skies,
Like locks blown forward in the gleam of eyes.
You could not tell, and yet it looked as if
The shore was lucky in being backed by cliff,
The cliff in being backed by continent;
It looked as if a night of dark intent
Was coming, and not only a night, an age.
Someone had better be prepared for rage.
There would be more than ocean-water broken
Before God's last Put out the Light was spoken.

I had to move this to another wall in the kitchen to make room for the china cabinet... which is slowly taking over my life!

It appears that Bailey Moving & Storage has repurposed some of their moving van trailer doors. I thought it was pretty neat that they did this. This door was just too shiny and new looking for this old building, so I did add some texture in iPiccy.

Former Western National/Royal Blue 1473 RDV423H is a well known preserved vehicle. This shot from July 1993 was, I think, it working for Andy James of Easton Grey on the Malmesbury service from Swindon in proper revenue earning service.
It was located at Greenmead in Livonia Michigan but has now completely fallen apart and has been removed
1 - It really reminds me of Venice (remove the cars)
2 - for those who are kind enough to read the notes, I mentioned before Maurice Ravel was born 400 m away from this place, the other side of the harbor - Ciboure. And one of the most beautiful pievce he wrote is called "Pavane pour une infante défunte".
Etonnant, non ?
People ask me if I don't ever get tired of shooting waterfalls. Well then, it does get monotonous at times, but I simply love the dynamism and energy of cascading water and so waterfall images make a large part of my portfolio.
Placing the tripod to take this frame was a challenge, but I managed. When shooting low it helps to have a swivel screen and that is one thing I missed having in my present camera. With my earlier camera, going low was a breeze but now I really have to bend my back. Still when I manage to get images like this without a swivel screen, I think the back bending is worth it.
