A close up shot of a Bearded Iris in bloom. Always amazing to see God's beautiful designs in something as small as a flower.

Iris, the flower symbol of Florence

In the shade, the flower is light pastel blue in color. With the setting sun shining from its back, the thin petals turned whitish. With the light breeze, it was a moving object. Light filtering through the petals kept changing.

The purple color of the Iris is the most outstanding color for me when i look at flowers.
