The red-violet purples are a challenge to photograph. This is close, but not right on.

Variety unknown to me. Maybe a Siberian? An older lady gave me several of these last year. They are happy and healthy!

I used my aluminum foil reflector, a piece of foil covered cardboard, on the right to help bring out the texture more. I thought since I suggested it to someone else and it worked for them, I'd better try it myself.
