Another angle on this car.

The world record car T80 was built in1939 by Ferdinand Porsche. It was equipped with the plane motor DB 603 with 3,000 HP. The T80 should be the worlds fastet vehicle on 4 wheels. It was planned to race in 1940 with up to 600 km/h over the Autobahn. The start of WWII halted this project, so the T80 was never used.

This picture may be difficult for some to look at, but suck it up! it's real life, bitches!

This is the end result of a search through my lingerie drawers for a pair of fishnet stockings. Then I remembered that I had already worn them this week and they were in the laundry.

It kind of hurts when the kind of words you write kind of turn themselves into knives and don't mind my nerve, you could call it fiction, but I like being submerged in your contradictions, dear.

Another shot of this guy.

Taken about 40 seconds after this shot.

The end of the "silent street" is rather narrow. Any overweight person would probably be stuck there.

Due to the popularity of this shot, I added the remaining pictures of my walk through silent street to my photostream. The journey begins here.

After climbing up, you finally end up here, but first you have to continue the journey and climb up the stairs.

There were at least 4 gullwings standing next to each other...

Here's also a 300SL roadster, standing nearby.

Taken a few seconds after the original 'Icecream' shot.

This is the worlds biggest velvet curtain. It's 25m tall, weighs 1.1 tons and has a size of 1850 square meters...

Here's another shot.

Yet another shot of this polar bear, showing his tongue to the visitors...

People fall out of the world sometimes, but they always leave traces. Little things we can't quite account for. Faces in photographs, luggage, half-eaten meals... rings... Nothing is ever forgotten, not completely. And if something can be remembered, it can come back.

Spliced together with Diptic

Taken a few seconds before this shot. This guy had a great facial expression...

In the shadow of the iconic Empire State Building is the seedy underbelly of New York City: live girls and adult DVDs!

Luckily, it's right within walking range of tourists bored by their wives endless need to shop and my place of work.

Strip clubs have the best lunch buffets! On one of their light days the live girls are great about giving me tips on my pole dancing. Plus, I can get rid of those $1 bills I hate carrying around.

When I took some photos of this eagle he started to make grimaces, so I was able to shoot some pictures which do not show the stereotypical majestic eagle facial expression...

Taken a split second before this shot.

Today, we met Sheila again. As usual, they were jumping around each other like crazy ;)

(I have some more pictures of this encounter which I will add within the next days..)

One week later, another angle, another time of day...

Probably the most beautiful car in the new Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart.

Here you can see him with open eyes...

Same snake as in this shot. This time, I played a bit with Photoshop...

I wanted to lean against a tree for stabilizing my camera for another shot, when I suddenly saw these tiny mushrooms. They have a size of only a few millimeters (maybe 1/6"). I turned the original picture clockwise for better presentation.

It is really a strange micro cosmos out there ...

Here's another shot and here is one taken in winter with frost crystals...

Here's the old camera in context (found in the the open air museum Beuren, Germany).

There exists a photo from Hermann Hesse (the german poet and literature nobel price winner), which was made in this studio in front of exactly the depicted background.

...Don't say you don't notice them...

As a teacher I know it's wrong to play favourites, but these two students are members of my favourite class. Upon reading their survey I feel it's safe to say that I am their favourite teacher as they referred to me as "lovely, perfect, beautiful, and the best."

They aren't afraid to ask me questions, they help each other, they do their homework, and they are looking forward to their final exam...

In some ways I feel like I have become their adoptive mother. Almost every day one or all of them presents me with personal situations asking for advice, recommendations, or help.

Presently they are keeping me entertained with a game of twenty questions. Two of the students saw me outside of the classroom having dinner with a gentleman. I did not see them. Of course they did not recognize the man, but apparently I was "sweet" looking with him. Now they ask me yes/no questions trying to figure out who his is...little do they know it will be impossible...

As of late I feel like I've been putting up a really great front, but apparently not so good...one of the students looked at me with a sad puppy face and said, "it's alright teacher." When I questioned them he replied, "I know you're sad." It nearly made me cry.

In short, I love these darlings.

More pictures of Wilbär.

Taken at the same occasion than this and this shot.

New Year's Day!

Notice the open drawers in the dresser as I was obviously looking for something the night/early morning before...

I am so terribly pale that I am visible even in the dark.

taken literally... ;)

(A follow-up to this picture.)

Another view of this mountain. According to the Bible, this is the place where Noah's ark landed.

This picture was made on the same occasion as those two: Karate Dog and Dogs playing. They had a great time together on that day. ;)

New shoes.

So pretty.

Don't worry, naysayers, I wasn't on the clock when I took this picture...

The only modern car displayed on the "Retro Classics meets Barock"-event in Ludwigsburg. This car is a unique concept car, built for the tire company Fulda as a test (and marketing) car for their new high speed tires. The maximum speed is 351 km/h (218 mp/h).

Exactly one year ago, I took some pictures of sheet lightning at the same location...

Late night dinner.

We shared a giant bowl of soup that was delicious. The water, however, was yellow and tasted odd. Thank God for beer.

There were still Christmas decorations up. One wreath had an Easter bunny eating a carrot stuck in the middle of it.

I love New York City.

The collage of the things on my desk: a leftover candy cane from Christmas, peanut Ginger chews, a dime, a nickle, and a Snapple cap.

The Snapple cap reads: "In Ancient Greece throwing an apple to a woman was considered a marriage proposal." Ha! Men would be in so much trouble nowadays...

Today, the fog has lifted and only the frost on the branches is left...

Compare with this picture from last winter.
