Today, I revisited the tree with the micro mushrooms. For size comparison: On the left side is my index finger (and I have small fingers ;) )

Another shot of a burning match ...

The same two meerkats as in this shot.

This picture was taken just on the other side of the street where I live. Somehow the light on that evening created a 'eerie' feeling which I hope is still visible in the photo.

Data: 15sec (from a tripod). The moon was blown out, so I pasted a full moon which I took earlier into the picture over the original location.

Another picture from a similar position (without the moon, but with more visible stars) can be found here

Yesterday, I visited Wilbär again. He's grown a lot, but is still very playful. He played a lot with this log and dragged it through the whole enclosure.

More pictures of Wilbär.

One of the tiger cubs even slipped through the fence and was only stopped by a mesh on the railings which keep the visitors away from the enclosure. A keeper had to come and fetch the adventurous little tiger girl and bring her back to her mum ...

The wonderful people over at jpgmag.com published a little article about my iPhone photos.

This time, the little frog kept still for 1.5 seconds and did not move...

Looking up inside the entrance hall of the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart, Germany.

Another angle.

This snow-capped, dormant volcanic cone is located near the northeast corner of Turkey, some miles west of the Iranian border.

The Book of Genesis identifies the "mountains of Ararat" as the resting place of Noah's Ark after the Great Flood described there.

Here, you can see the mountain in the evening.

Polar bears are frozen my mind as beautiful, dangerous, powerful and shrewd killers. And they probably should be respected as such, but looking at the amazing collection of photos in PolarBears:global Warmings poster child I am also seeing playful, social, humorous, graceful beings full of individuality as well. So I will be making mosaics now and then that seem to show these characteristics.

1. just chillin', 2. Untitled, 3. Is it morning already ?, 4. I love watermelon!, 5. Chin up!, 6. roll out the barrel!, 7. Bubba, 8. scratch, scratch - aaaahhh, that's better, 9. www.flickr.com/photos/gcquinn/367594107/in/pool-polarpost..., 10. Polar bear hugs, 11. Will you be my Valentine?, 12. Today, I visited Wilbär a second time. He and his mother Corinna are now in the bigger part of the enclosure (the father has to be kept separated). The queue was quite a bit longer this time (I had to wait for about 30 minutes), but when I saw him, he was much more active than the last time. He jumped several times into the water, swam and played with his mother. Stay tuned for more pics in the future... ;)

When we had frost some time ago, I re-visited the micro mushrooms so you can see the frost crystals as a size reference.

Another shot which was taken with this lens...

Best viewed large.

Another angle of the escalator, leading to the Autostadt.

Another angle on this tiny (about 1-2 cm (~1/2 inch) in real life ...) frog.

Another angle on this concept car.

The car was used to test new dynamic handling control systems. The outer wheels tilt at an angle of up to 20 degrees when cornering - hence the reference to the carver skies.

Taken a few seconds after this shot.

This photo was made from about the same position as the previous photo, just with another lens.

This pine tree located near the Bastei was made famous by the late german landscape photographer Fritz Pölking when he took a picture on new years eve 2000

Due to the overwhelming response, I uploaded some more pictures of this little guy...

While playing (i.e. chasing each other), one of the tiger cubs fell into the water. The others obviously tried to pull him out of the water, but he was able to get out on his own (as you can see, he's standing in the water on a small ledge, so he could jump out of the water).

Last time I saw her (about 4 months ago), she was just a few weeks old.

Another angle on this car.

The world record car T80 was built in1939 by Ferdinand Porsche. It was equipped with the plane motor DB 603 with 3,000 HP. The T80 should be the worlds fastet vehicle on 4 wheels. It was planned to race in 1940 with up to 600 km/h over the Autobahn. The start of WWII halted this project, so the T80 was never used.

This picture may be difficult for some to look at, but suck it up! it's real life, bitches!

This is the end result of a search through my lingerie drawers for a pair of fishnet stockings. Then I remembered that I had already worn them this week and they were in the laundry.

It kind of hurts when the kind of words you write kind of turn themselves into knives and don't mind my nerve, you could call it fiction, but I like being submerged in your contradictions, dear.
