The cosy interiour of a 1904 interurban bogie car, built by La Métallurgique from Nivelles (Belgium) and working the Amsterdam - Haarlem - Zandvoort line until its closure in 1957. From 1924 on this line was operated by NZH company.
The photo is taken from the small, separated 'smoking' compartment, originally destined as 1st class. The car body to some extent resembles those of Lisbon bogie trams of the same vintage operating until the 1990s - except the luggage nets and the intermediate bulkhead, items not common on urban tramways. However, the crackling sounds of the wooden bodywork during the ride may well have been the same with these cars

Roughly 5000 years after this: www.flickr.com/photos/just0nebrick/14166485238/
After the planet Ckytox was completely contaminated in a war, the entire population had to settle to other planets in their solar system. Now, 5000 years later the first research teams got sent back to
Ckytox to find out if the planet is habitable again.
Captains Log; Day 11
After a long search we found some more leftovers of our civilization today; A few broken bridges and a communications building. We set up camp and placed some makeshift landing lights, so that we would find it again.
Captains Log; Day 12
We took a closer look at the communications building. It was a bit ruined, but there were no holes in the walls. Inside we found an old computer. Surprisingly we even got it and the giant satellite dish on top of the building to work. They must've been well conserved over all those years. We found some interesting Information on the computer; information that might help us to recover what has been lost in the war. We send all the information we could over to our orbital base. We are really making some great progress at exploring Ckytox.
I hope you like it :D
P.S.: that Building got interiour, but I am to dumb to take pics :|
The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam has a real nice library. For me the famous spiral staircase in combination with the soft light from above had been on my photo-bucketlist for a while.

Interiour of an EMU 'Break' of national Belgian train operator NMBS/SNCB, built in the first half of the 1980s by BN
Tram line 30 from Bracquegnies to Anderlues at Timonpréa, on the boundary of the municipalities of Morlanwelz and Anderlues. The road at the left is leading to the village of Carnières.
The remaining lines of the old Hainaut vicinal network received new, mostly monochrome route blinds in their last years. Line 30 changed from blue/green to red.
The tram track has been renewed recently, but the painting process of the catenary posts got stuck. Line 30 always kept its simple contact wires, without support wire and suspenders to keep them straight. As a result the pantograph lost proper contact with the overhead wire every now and then at full speed. At night the effect was really spectacular, when the tram interiour was sometimes left in darkness while the surroundings were lit clear blue by the sparks between the pantograph and the wire. In 1986 an important part of the Hainaut vicinal network was closed. Line 30 was one of the victims

In 1901-1902 this small church was built on behalf of a Polish prince. It took another 10 years to finish the interiour and decoration.
It served for several years until the Germans blow up the basement doors during world war 2.
After this incident, the church fell into disrepair. Local people stole everything that was worth something.
Visited this location in September 2014

Pictures do not substitute the feeling of actually being there and immerse yourself in this absolutely amazing building. Architecture at its best. I did not dare take a roundshot in the interiour as a service was taking place at the moment.

I finally found an issue of the great Apartamento magazine. Had to travel to Stockholm, but anyway. Love it.
Sorry for the push, I wanted to have this in front of my detail pic.
HERE IT IS!
My entry for the outpost contest. took about... a long time... to build and I had to order a fucking crane for 40 bucks just to get those front pieces.
So. Lore... erm... let me think of something....
These Outposts get sropped off on destroyed planets to raid the ruins. Thats Lore. Yeah.
This thing got a full interiour, which I will show in the detail pics. The Thunderstorms fits within the Thing. there is also a nice door to let it out, but Ill post that 2morrow.
Size: 32x50x32.. I guess
Detail pics coming tomorrow. The communications array is that house on the side with the antenna array. you can take it off easily. Maybe Ill even make a Vid.. If I can get someone to give me a vid-cam.
I hope you like it ;)
Also its a bit based on concept art by Pierre e fieschi, as you may have guessed.
Iron Forge final round. And there are so many other beautiful creations in the field, it's gonna be a brawl soon^^
this time, i used the same seed part technique that i figured out with the steam punk plane to make it the center of the build, which makes for the overall octangular shape of this moon elf throne room.
...converted industrial loft...now design studio and artisan shoe store
