Drie drieassers 'snellen' in colonne over de Middenweg in Amsterdam op een zomeravond. Onze 533 komt op achterstand door het op rood springen van het stoplicht bij de Wethouder Frankeweg. Soortgenoot 903, waarvan deze avond afscheid wordt genomen voor hij naar het Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem vertrekt, kan nog net doorrijden.
Meer dan dit kregen drieasserpassagiers zelden van de bestuurder te zien. Als het tegenzat had hij of zij ook het bruine gordijn rechts naast zich dichtgetrokken - het diende vooral om bij donker lichtspiegelingen vanuit het interieur te voorkomen - en in het ergste geval hing er ook nog een jasje voor het cabineraam.
De 533 is - afgezien van het ouderwetse lijnkleurkastje achter de voorruit - in de toestand van na de verbeteringen van eind jaren '50, met nieuwe stoelen en een grotere bestuurderscabine, wat ten koste ging van twee achteruitkijkende zitplaatsen direct achter het schot. Op het schot zit de bakelieten maximaalautomaat van de omvormer op het dak voor de laagspanningsinstallatie. Dat was een toevoeging uit 1957, toen richtingaanwijzers voor trams wettelijk verplicht werden. Voorheen werkten de deurmotoren en de seinlampen op de bovenleidingsspanning, dat is daarna gewijzigd en ook kwam er met de 24 Volt-installatie zoiets moderns als een elektrische ruitenwisser, zodat de bestuurder die niet meer met de hand hoefde te bedienen

Interiour view from historic three-axle tram car 533 in Amsterdam during a summer evening ride. It was a farewell tour for preceding car 903 of the same type but in modernized shape, with large route number box, new doors and a 'bloody nose' on the front to indicate conductorless operation; this car went to the Open Air Museum in Arnhem on a permanent basis.

For the operation of Routes C1 and C2 (so-called "ComfortRRReis trunk routes), 40 BYD K9UE buses with special interiour comprising USB plugs and tables at every seat are used. One of the vehicles is seen here on route C1, operated half-hourly every day between Nunspeet, Elburg, Zwolle and Dedemsvaart. The bus just left Zwolle Hessenpoort and is now running to the rural Dalfserveld area.

Iron Forge 2022, Final Round. This time i upped the scale a lot and also got some more seed parts (hinge brick 1x2 top plate) really spontaneously^^ So i hid them all over this room diorama.
This is the picture over the alter in the baroque cathedral in Prüm in the German Eifel. The building also houses the local grammar school. The original abbey was founded in the eighth century by the great grandmother of Charlemagne in 721AD.

Summer kitchen
The kitchen on the enclosed veranda of the village house is an unheated space, which is used only in summer.
A late-winter hike up to Donut Falls was quite rewarding. The area itself is beautiful. And the solitude. But in the cave that the falls tumble into was beyond description. The sun streamed through the the donut hole and the whole interiour glowed yellow.

Het levensgroot afgebeelde trappenhuis is geen werk van Maurits Escher, maar een interieurfoto van de Arnhemse HBS waar hij zijn schooltijd doorbracht en royaal onvoldoendes haalde, zelfs voor meetkunde - alleen niet voor tekenen. Maar íets heeft die HBS toch wel bij hem achtergelaten.

A former royal palace in The Hague hosts a permanent exhibition of the work of Maurits Escher. However, the stairwell is not from his hand - it is a life-sized picture from the interiour of his high school on a wall. Although Escher got bad grades (except for drawing), the school may well have inspired him to some extent
Na 169 jaar bouwen [1352-1521] verrees de kathedraal met zijn 123 meter hoogte boven Antwerpen. Het werd het grootste gotische bouwwerk van de Nederlanden. De kathedraal is een enorme schatkamer met verschillende kunstwerken van onder andere Rubens. Na twintig jaar restauratie schittert de zevenbeukige kerk opnieuw in al haar architectonische pracht. Blikvangers zijn zeker Rubens’ 'Kruisoprichting' en 'Kruisafneming'.

It took 169 years (1352-1521) of labour to raise the 123m heavenward-reaching steeple of the Cathedral, the highest Gothic building in the Low Countries. The Cathedral is an iconic treasury, with an impressive collection of major art works, including a series of paintings by Rubens. Now, after twenty years, the seven-naved church has been restored to its former architectural glory. Fascinating features include Rubens’ ‘Elevation of the Cross’ and his ‘Descent from the Cross’.
First time I combined focus bracketing/stacking and HDR. I needed HDR obviously to deal with the brightness levels. At the same time, I wanted to have the bulb interiour completely sharp, but the background should be as blurry as possible. So I had to open the aperture to F2.8 and shoot 15 shots (stepping 1). I did 5 brackets with 2EV difference. Post processing was to stack the 5 brackets (Helicon Focus method C) and then merge the HDR in Lightroom. Some global and local adjustments in LR as well.
