Interactive musical installation made from reclaimed materials by Sarah Kenchington in Trinty Apse. Another Art Festival commission - see www.edinburghartfestival.com/commissions/sarah_kenchington

This was INCREDIBLY cool! You put a small cardboard disc on the 'table' and it would allow you to play games, send text, watch tv or play music. Devin was showing us the music interface, you could 'scratch' the record, change songs and remove the needle. The tv, you could rotate the cardboard disc and it would 'change the channel'. All very modern and interesting to this techno geek :)

We developed two interactive stations with inmersive state of the art technology at Feeders Motorola Venue.

The action was taking real time pictures and those pictures appeared on an interactive screen framed like polaroids.

The interactive wall respond to passer by people body movements and at the same time worked as an open photobooth, showing up all venue attendants.

This image is the final interactive effect entirely made with vvvv. No post-production on it at all, it is 100% generated in realtime.

The idea : if there is someone in front of the controller the spray/ball will transform into the Spectral and you can control it with your Kinect.

Then, if there is nobody, the Spectral will transform back into the spray/ball and move around.

Scenes from COSI's "Invisible Astronomy" interactive videoconference program for grades 7-12.

Here, Ohio State University astronomy professor Dr. David Ennis takes two classrooms of high school students, including a Canadian classroom, through a lesson on how astronomers use space telescopes to make observations in infrared light, and what astronomical objects this light reveals.

Dr. Ennis began studying astronomy in 1975.

This program and the related kit have been partially funded by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Chandra Grant.

In our fast and digital times of computers, networking and interactive mobile devices, there is only little room left, for different paces, concentration on quiet things. By utilizing old handcraft techniques such as Macrame – a knotted net using red ribbon wire –, this installation not only aims to preserve the knowledge of traditional artwork, but also the creation processes with time for talk and information exchange. By taking this individual work out of the context of private homes and placing it into public space, this project becomes a beautiful and poetical call for preserving old handwork techniques – also as an inspiring and creative resource for new structures and designs. We definitely enjoyed it !!!

RPT fuses Integrative Therapeutic Massage, Immersive Video Art, and Shared Perspective Virtual Reality to create a technologically mediated healing modality capable of inducing collective out-of-body experience. Transformative healing is possible ...

Recursion Projection Therapy integrates healing and visual arts. The practitioner creates, controls, and projects visual information, in the form of dynamic mandalas, directly onto the client during the healing session. A camera and projector are mounted above the massage table. The client is the projection screen. The camera captures the entire scene and sends the live image to helmet-mounted video displays worn by both client and practitioner.
