Installation of a new Antenna Tower in Edmond, Oklahoma. These guys are installing bolts to a new section that was just added.
Installed her solar panels on the roof of the workshop. Notice the really dirty solar panel. The charge controller it was attached to, showed a lower voltage output, wonder why?. This proved to me that keeping them clean as possible will be a worthy investment in time spent cleaning.

JR et l'Opéra de Paris ont dévoilé une œuvre géante sur la façade du Palais Garnier. À l'occasion des travaux de restauration du monument, l'institution a invité le Street Artiste à installer un de ses trompe-l’œil, qui apparaît aux passants tel un mirage dans la ville.

The bridge has been installed after paint and weathering, and scenic elements are getting underway slowly but surely.
START POINT LIGHTHOUSE WAS BUILT BY TRINITY HOUSE IN 1836, MARKING ONE OF THE MOST EXPOSED PENINSULAS ON THE ENGLISH COAST. START POINT RUNS SHARPLY ALMOST A MILE INTO THE SEA ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF START BAY NEAR DARTMOUTH. THE LIGHTHOUSE - SITED AT THE VERY END OF THE HEADLAND - GUIDES VESSELS IN PASSAGE ALONG THE ENGLISH CHANNEL.
JAMES WALKER DESIGNED START POINT LIGHTHOUSE IN 1836 AND IT OWES MUCH TO THE GOTHIC MOVEMENT IN ARCHITECTURE OF THE TIME, WITH ITS BATTLEMENTED PARAPET. TWO WHITE LIGHTS WERE ORIGINALLY EXHIBITED, ONE REVOLVING AND ONE FIXED TO MARK THE SKERRIES BANK; A FIXED RED SUBSIDIARY LIGHT STILL MARKS THIS HAZARD. THE OPTIC USED WAS THE FIRST OF ITS KIND USED BY TRINITY HOUSE.
EVEN SO, THE LIGHT WAS FOUND TO BE INADEQUATE IN FOG AND A BELL WAS INSTALLED IN THE 1860S; THE MACHINERY WAS HOUSED IN A SMALL BUILDING ON THE CLIFF FACE AND OPERATED BY A WEIGHT WHICH FELL IN A TUBE RUNNING DOWN THE SHEER CLIFF. A SIREN REPLACED THE BELL AFTER ONLY 15 YEARS.
IN 1871 THE INTERMEDIATE FLOORS OF THE TOWER OF 1836 WERE REMOVED AND EXTRA ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED IN COMMON WITH ALL TRINITY HOUSE STATIONS.
COASTAL EROSION CAUSED THE COLLAPSE OF THE FOG SIGNAL BUILDING IN DECEMBER 1989; THE SITE WAS LEVELLED, A NEW RETAINING WALL BUILT AND A FREE STANDING FOG SIGNAL STACK PUT IN PLACE.
THE LIGHTHOUSE WAS AUTOMATED IN 1993. THE LIGHTHOUSE IS NOW MONITORED AND CONTROLLED FROM TRINITY HOUSE’S PLANNING CENTRE IN HARWICH, ESSEX.
Had to reinstall Skyrim cause it crashed for unknown reasons, so I was testing armors after the install, while taking screenshots!

Chevrolet launched sales of the El Camino on Oct. 16, 1958. The car-truck hybrid was inspired by the Ford Ranchero, which had been on the market for two years.
The El Camino was a combination sedan-pickup truck built on the Impala body, with the same “cat’s eye” taillights and dramatic rear fins. It was, ads trilled, “the most beautiful thing that ever shouldered a load!” “It rides and handles like a convertible,” Chevy said, “yet hauls and hustles like the workingest thing on wheels.”
Ford’s Ranchero was the first “car-truck” sold in the United States, but it was not a new idea. Since the 1930s,
Australian farmers had been driving what they called “utes”—short for “coupé utility”—all around the outback. Legend has it that a farmer’s wife from rural Victoria had written a letter to Ford Australia, asking the company to build a car that could carry her to church on Sundays and her husband’s pigs to market on Mondays. In response, Ford engineer Lewis Brandt designed a low-slung sedan-based vehicle that was a ritzy passenger car in the front, with wind-up windows and comfortable seats and a rough-and-tumble pickup in back. The ute was a huge hit; eventually, virtually every company that sold cars Down Under made its own version.
In the United States, however, ute-type vehicles were slower to catch on. Though the Ranchero was a steady seller, the first incarnation of the El Camino was not and Chevy discontinued it after just two years. In 1964, the company introduced a new version, this one built on the brawnier Chevelle platform. In 1968, the more powerful SS engine made the El Camino into one of the iconic muscle cars of the late 1960s and 1970s.
In 1987, Chevrolet dropped the El Camino from its lineup for good. Today, the car is a cult classic.
Among the performance engines offered were a 283-cid Turbo-Fire V8 with two- or four-barrel carburetion, several Turbo-Thrust 348-cid V8s with four-barrel or triple two-barrel carburetors producing 335 bhp (250 kW; 340 PS), and 250- and 290-bhp 283-cube Ramjet Fuel Injection V8s.
Hot Rod magazine conducted a test of an El Camino equipped with the hottest powertrain combination available in early 1959—a 315 bhp (235 kW; 319 PS), triple-carb, solid-lifter 348 V8 mated to a four-speed. Staff testers clocked 0-60 mph times of around seven seconds, estimated top speed at 130 mph (210 km/h), and predicted 14-second/100-mph quarter-mile performance with a rear-axle ratio suitable for drag racing installed.
A total of 22,246 El Caminos were produced for 1959.

One side of the "La Hilandera" collaborative installation by Nnenna Okore and myself at the Evanston Art Center in the "Works from Around Our State" exhibition which opens Sunday 9.20 from 1 - 4 pm and running through November 11. This exhibition includes work by faculty and students of various colleges and universities around the state of Illinois. In addition to Nenna and myself North Park University is represented by our colleague Kelly VanderBrug, 2015 NPU graduate Tim Erickson and current student Jeanette Habash.
Nnenna Okore also currently has a solo exhibition at the Krannert Art Museum of the University of Illionis Urbana-Champaign.
New benches incorporating wrought iron squirrels, mice and griffins have been installed on the terrace and are based on photographic evidence of the exact seats in place when the park first opened.
One of South Tyneside's favourite parks has reopened after major restoration work. The terrace has been repaired and the stonework restored to its original design when the park first opened in 1890. The impressive 'Park Ladies' have been given a new paint finish and are once again in pride of place looking over the mouth of the Tyne ready to welcome visitors to the terrace.
For over 100 years it has been a place for walking, dancing, relaxing, playing and socialising. The park is a popular destination for tourists, day trippers, schools and community groups alike.
The park was designed by Matthew Hall, the Borough's surveyor and Engineer. John Peebles was appointed head gardener in 1886 and immediately set about creating the park that we know today out of the old waste spoil tips, or 'ballast hills'. Remarkably, his diary, in which he reported on progress in the park every month to the Parks Committee, has survived. This diary proved to be an invaluable resource when planning the park's restoration.
South Shields is a coastal town at the mouth of the River Tyne, England, about 4.84 miles (7.79 km) downstream from Newcastle upon Tyne. Historically in County Durham, the town has a population of 82,854, the second largest in Tyneside after Newcastle. It is part of the metropolitan borough of South Tyneside which includes the towns of Jarrow and Hebburn.
As well as being the oldest and largest town in South Tyneside, South Shields is also one of the region's most popular seaside resorts. The area markets itself as Catherine Cookson Country, which attracts many visitors. Further improvements and developments to the seafront are planned.
Today I walked down to the East River in Dumbo Brooklyn to where a merry go round had been installed on the waterfront a couple of years prior. The railings leading up to the merry go round have lights underneath them which makes for interesting lighting. I took this shot as the sun was setting behind Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.
I haven't been at the workbench much lately but I did manage to get the handrails installed on one of the slugs. And once I get some drill bits to replace the ones I broke I can start on the other one and hopefully the S-13s that will be mated to them.
