Fiddling about with last weeks newspaper. Most of these clippings are from the horoscope section.
I always find if you read your horoscope a week late, then it always seems really similar to what happened in the previous seven days.
It was scarily so,for me anyway, in the first week of April.
I nearly collapsed from surprise!!!!
Still have to make an antenna for the radio...
Well, I am pretty happy with this one. I was kinda lacking inspiration for a little while, but I saw Ricky's old Panzer III turret and thought I'd give it a shot, I tweaked it a bit and I've managed to eliminate almost all exposed studs, which I am quite happy with.
I am still trying to develop a smaller version of my Panzer IV turret, but not much luck so far, so I am sticking with this for now.
Pretty surprised at how well the camouflage came out, I would like to add a bit more dark green, but this is basically all my dark green parts, haha.
Oh yeah, I turned 18 on monday. I got some cool stuff, most notably, an old Mosin Nagant :D

Keeping with the summer Sweet Sunday theme, I picked up some raspberries and thought of this recipe for a nice summer day.
It's really simple but a little time consuming since you have to wait for it to freeze, but it is honestly minimal effort and tasty, so it's a recipe to keep around if you're having company.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of raspberries
- 1/2 of honey (you could also use simple syrup if you prefer)
Directions:
01. In a blender or food processor, puree 3 cups raspberries with the 1/2 of honey.
02. Strain into a loaf pan or shallow dish and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours.
04. Using a fork, scrape the surface of the raspberry ice to create icy flakes; divide among bowls.
05. Serve with the vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and additional raspberries, if desired.

Todays challenge for the daily shoot was, Pick an everyday subject and get as close as you can to it. Make a photograph and post it!
I dont actually have many everyday items in my office at the moment as I have packed almost everything away in boxes as I am moving to a new building shortly, so I thought the backpack I carry around to and from work and pretty much whenever we go out anywhere on weekends is an everyday item for me, and thhen got in real close for these shots
They are one of the birthday gift from my friend. They make me happy :D

Here is my current print exchange wall! I've gotten a LOT of new prints since the last time I took a picture of it :P Had to bust out my fisheye lens to capture all of my wall! :) Ignore the fact that my bed is a complete mess, haha.
Last night we had a sleepover for my fraternity! We played Catch Phrase, Cat Go Eat Poo, and had a nerf gun war. Then after that we just chilled in our president's apartment and slept there for the night. I ended up staying up all night until 8am just talking with two of my pledge brothers (: It was awesome bonding with them! Then we slept from 8-10:30am, and then woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon :P

The plot centers on the fictional SS Poseidon, an aged luxury liner on her final voyage from New York City to Athens before being sent to the scrapyard. On New Year's Eve, she is overturned by a Tsunami. Passengers and crew are trapped inside, and a rebellious preacher attempts to lead a small group of survivors to safety through the guts of this colossus of steel...

As promised, I am trying a hard surface object. All natural light, without a reflector. Two focus stacking.
This is part of my recent photo project “50 shades of grey". 50 different white objects in different materials, placed on white background, will be attempted. The intention of this project is to force me to pay attention to varying light and shadows, and most of all composition. Let's see how far I can go. This is also a test of my imagination:-)
