painting i'm working on for the upcoming show at alpha cult in long beach. i need to finish it tonight because the resin coating i put on takes a few days to fully harden and i need to drop this off on monday.

also, i should have taken a few pics before i got to this point. oh well.

Yesterday was one of those dull, dreary days with lots of rain, so out came the dye pots. I've been working on collegiate stuff for a client and decided to make a "Virginia Tech" roving in the crock pot with maroon and gold. As you can see, that's not what I wound up with. But this is lovely!

The trees are gone, and most of the stuff has been hauled away. Still some stuff left on the side of the house. Also fixed the leaking sprinkler line - that's why the weeds were always green in that one spot!
