A house, in the middle of nowhere, what could possibly go wrong?

Pattern: Cedar Dancing Sock, from Cat Bordhi's New Pathways for Sock Knitters

 

Needles: US 1.5 (2.5mm) DPNs for body of sock; US 1 (2.25mm) circular for freaky-deaky cast-on.

 

Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Mediumweight, color Count Cluckula (somebody has entirely too much fun naming these).

we did a bit of touch up on this and need to rescan. but this is basically how itll look, before text bubbles.

Collatz conjecture diagram. A work in progress. Vertical trunks are "n/2" collapses. Horizontal lines are "3n+1" expansions. Just trying to build it from the ground up to see how things work... A somewhat larger version (still working on expanding it).

Size 7 needle. Added extra stitch in contrast color for reversibility.

here I skipped a step, mostly because the stars were white-on-white and I had a hard time finding them to outline them, let alone making them show up in a photo.
