Cast on for Pomatomus this weekend, using the lovely hand-dyed yarn I picked up from Etsy a few months ago. I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about with Pomatomus until I started, but boy, knitting that lace pattern is fun. Pretty, too, especially in these blues. ♥

The stain stick and cable clash a bit, but I'm... how do you say it... lazy

Skeins Finnwool, dyed in the Purplicious colourway. Received in the Wildcraft Woollies' TdF challenge swap. Spinning as a true 3ply.

This is right after her smokey eyes and blush were applied with pastels & q-tips. Now I think about what type of mouth to give her...

Sue's quilt on design wall at Liz's. We moved more blocks around on this one to balance color and density.

The beer only fermented in the bucket for 7 days but most of the activity had subsided. I decided to move the brew to the glass carboy to improve clarity.

while wrapping, you can add stones & charms to the webbing. i used only one stone to represent the spider in the web.

 

when finished wrapping... i finished stitching at the bottom (of the middle) of the dream catcher and tied a feather.

I always love this phase of a project...getting to smear paint on a fresh wall...the loose strokes and abstract look of it.
