Skeins Finnwool, dyed in the Purplicious colourway. Received in the Wildcraft Woollies' TdF challenge swap. Spinning as a true 3ply.

This is right after her smokey eyes and blush were applied with pastels & q-tips. Now I think about what type of mouth to give her...

Blogged!

I'm bringing some of my homemade automatic instruments to the Coney Island Museum's Band Organ Rally this Sunday. Come out, have some corn dogs, and listen to 19th and 21st century robots making music! www.moonmilk.com/2008/03/14/coney-island-band-organ-rally/

Yes, that's an actual hair dryer....I can't take the damn tray out as the door is stopped by the kitchen counter. I would have to figure out how to unscrew the door...I figured using a hair dryer would be easier in which I then had to take a cloth to soak in the water. My back hurts. Oh, my friend told me next time use boiling water instead of a hair dryer...yes...that would be safer. Don't try this at home kids.

based off of the best instructions i found: www.nativetech.org/dreamcat/dreminst.html

while wrapping, you can add stones & charms to the webbing. i used only one stone to represent the spider in the web.

when finished wrapping... i finished stitching at the bottom (of the middle) of the dream catcher and tied a feather.

I like Crookston!

I just moved here last year

so everything seems new to me.

It’s fun to play outside and walk around.

I couldn’t do that where I used to live.

People in Crookston

like to wrestle especially me.

I learned my moves while watching

wrestling on TV with my brothers.

I love my aunt!

She is like a candle

shining bright and beautiful.

She is my light on a dark day.

Photographs are fun to make.

They let me tell the world about

all the things I like.

I can make anything my mind can dream of

with my camera.

Adorable wood sculptures I found in a bargain bin at my supermarket (SUPERMARKET) for $1.39.

The finished sock body base for the new Brian puppet.

Col-Erase Pencils, Mono Erasers, and "shakey" mechanical pencil.. oh - and wireless keyboard.

Which is fine, but I wanted a live model for the arms instead of the Diana figure. The arms look pretty good, though a bit gapy where the underarm isn't grafted yet. I'm not sure where the shoulders will lie, so it's just an approximation, but it looks like it's on target to fit properly!

Hooray! And maybe even finished by Thanksgiving or so.

Oil on Masonite / 12 x 24 / Deep, black floater frame

At 2' x 4', This is the biggest painting I've done in quite a white... it's so big that it just fits on my 4' x 3' work table without room for much else. But, this is a study for an even bigger painting which I plan to make out of 3 of these panels placed next to each other, making a 4' x 6' painting. Before I get into building all that, I thought I'd better make a smaller one-panel version to see how it works out.
