My latest madness. I decided to axe my idea of making an Einstein coat and make a lap throw instead. I might actually get it knit for the cold weather here! LOL

It's still in progress, but almost finished.
It fits too thight on my chocolat 'cause the doll who'll wear it is more more thin...but I wanted to show it weared to see how it wear.

I haven't posted a dye picture lately; here is orange Tunis drying on an improvised bunny cage rack under the spruce trees. Now I plan to paint some Shetland/mohair for the crock pot!
Nice use of glue and barbecue skewers. One more cork and some paint will lead to a self standing obstacle and cover.
In this pic, I've finished the purple base coat (you can see it's nice and opaque after lots of layers), and I've started painting his eyes. I like to start with the eyes because I think that really starts to bring the character and personality alive. Do you like the yellow paint? :) His nose, ears and bandages will be a different colour, so I've left them unpainted for now.
