Music exerts a powerful influence on human beings. It can boost memory, build task endurance, lighten your mood, reduce anxiety and depression, stave off fatigue, improve your response to pain, and help you work out more effectively.
Music can also serve as a kind of mirror, reflecting our own emotions and experiences back to us in a way that allows us to see ourselves more clearly. When we hear a song that captures the essence of our own feelings, it can be a powerful moment of self-reflection and introspection.
So take every opportunity to add a soundtrack to a moment, because you never know just how deeply it can connect us to our past when listening to that track again in the future.
In Second Life, there is a wealth of DJ's and live artists that share their music with everyone that cares to go join them. So take advantage of that and go and enjoy them all, because those moments, as we join them on the trip they lay out for us, will stick in our memory forevermore.
After the fall of the Roman Empire beginning in the 6th century, Germanic Alemannic peoples increased their influence on this area of present-day Switzerland. Around 750 the Benedictine Monastery of St. Leodegar was founded, which was later acquired by Murbach Abbey in Alsace in the middle of the 9th century, and by this time the area had become known as Luciaria. In 1178 Lucerne acquired its independence, and the founding of the city proper probably occurred that same year. The city gained importance as a strategically located gateway for the growing commerce from the Gotthard trade route.
I've caught a bad cold, and haven't been able to smell anything for over a week. Second only to Anuradhapura in the ancient history of Sri Lanka, Polonnaruwa – also part of the Cultural Triangle – served as the island's capital from the 11th to 13th centuries, a relatively brief but glorious period that saw a flourishing of Buddhist arts and architecture – with a large dose of Indian influence thrown in. Tétouan is famed for its fine craftsmanship and musical delicacy and has been part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the area of Crafts and Folk Art since 2017. Its cultural heritage is the product of the interaction between different cultural influences throughout centuries. It is mainly characterized by its Andalusian style and way of living but both Berber, Jewish and Colonial Spanish influences are present too.
The streets are fairly wide and straight, and many of the houses belonging to aristocratic families, descendants of those expelled from Al-Andalus by the Spanish Reconquista, possess marble fountains and have groves planted with orange trees. Within the houses and riads the ceilings are often exquisitely carved and painted in Hispano-Moresque designs, such as are found in the Alhambra of Granada, and the tile-work for which Tetuan is known may be seen on floors, pillars and dados. The city has seven gates which were closed at night up until early 20th century. Many Sufi Zawiyas are scattered inside the walled old city.

Here's a brief description on this Water Carved Landscape:
"Although flowing water is the force that carved these canyons, the shape and direction of the canyons were influenced by the rocks themselves.
Summer rainstorms can cause massive flooding. As floodwaters move boulders and cobbles downstream, the tumbling rocks wear away underlying bedrock, helping to carve the canyons. Thunderstorms are violent, but usually short-lived. On most days this wash is dry."
