A shot from the 2011 orchid exhibition in our botanical garden. No nice conditions for a SLR in that green house. It took a while until the lens did'nt fog anymore. Then once the camera and lens were ready to use i began sweating. At the end i switched lenses between my Sigma 105 macro, my Flektogon 35mm 2.4 and my lovely Canon 85mm 1.8. Each one has different characteristics, hard to pick a favorite.
Some impressions from the city of Ushuaia. It's small, remote and relatively cold, but it's scenery make it a very nice city.

Some impressions from the city of Ushuaia. It's small, remote and relatively cold, but it's scenery make it a very nice city.
This one is a canvas covered in blue paint, then a clear gel medium. When the medium was partially dry I make imprints of gears and other industrial do-dads. Once it was all dried out I dobbed and rubbed the textured canvas with blue, purple and green paints.
I feel like it still needs more, but I havent decided how to finish it yet. I think maybe a quote or line art picture over the top, or coats of yellow ocre, sienna, and orange paints leaving only the "cool"colors in the impressions and the warms on the high areas
