Impressions from Greece
Images spanning 50 years – taken in 1963 and 2013, from the Greek Cyclades Islands, with a 50-layer rhythmical low-relief sculpture. Materials: Ink-jet prints on Hahnemuehle 310g photo-rag paper and 4-
ply paper mat-board sculpture.
"Daniella, can I take pictures of your feet?"
"Yeah...uhm, why?"
"Because they have impressions from the chair on them and I'm doing a photo series of impressions on skin."
"Oh yeah sure go ahead"
They weren't super prominant because of the length of time she was sitting on the chair so they don't pop out a lot, but yeah, here's another photo for that series. I like how her skin looks deathly, it's barely edited at all.
Today I made cookies. It took a long time, but they're delicious. I had my daddio take me driving, he didn't realize I've been driving on surface streets and in traffic and stuff so he was thought that was cool so I drove us to teh store to get stuff for dinner.
I am le tired.

I have lost count of the number of dental impressions that I've had over the last four years. The one in the upper left corner here is just a quarter impression from the prior visit to the dentist; I had three more impressions made on Monday. Hopefully this is the last set for a long time.
This time the dentist started with finishing work on my implant, which required local anesthetic, removal of the temporary crown, and drilling. Happily, they used anesthetic without epinephrine, so it didn't send me into shock like usual.
Then, more impressions: purple goo on the bottom, and two colors on top, yellow goo squirted on right around the implant site and red goo in the metal tray for the rest of the teeth. The red stuff in the syringe is some kind of dental plasticky stuff that they used for spiffing up my temp crown before putting it back in. The "crown-puller" instrument at the right was used to remove the crown from the implant abutment, after the "crown-thumper" instrument was used to loosen the temporary crown. I get my permanent crown in just three more weeks!
